"It's your father," Ivan whispered toward Dallas before raising his phone to his ear.
"Hello?"
"My lord." The voice came from the other end, the name drawing a sudden laugh from Ivan.
"My lord?!" he asked, "You're joking, right?" He added. He remembered Dallas's father asking him to call him father, and now the same father was referring to him as a lord?
He couldn't tell if it was jest or seriousness.
"It comes naturally," Alpha Gregory said, his tone almost formal. "Even if I wanted to call you something else, it wouldn't happen. That's how everyone out here is referring to you now."
"What?" Ivan asked, stunned.
