In a faraway place, two men are seen discussing with each other inside a castle with grand and magnificent structures. The two men were one old and the other middle-aged. It is hard to guess just how many years exactly they've lived, though.
"Father, there's no need to worry. Although we didn't get the Šâþada* weapon, it's not like they're going to come out of it alive, either."
"As for their child, even if it doesn't die before being born, it'll still be useless. Besides, didn't we get a strand of Šâþada mana? I have melded it into Lâša's body, coupled with our clan's inheritance. He'll surely lead our clan to a new height in the future."
The middle-aged man patiently explained to the old man, who had a slight frown on his face.
"Ghânn child, you can never be too careful. Since we have already reached this step, it's only normal to make sure there's no future trouble left."
"That weapon disappeared into space. Although the chances are small, it is still possible that they were sent into one of the other domains."
"How about this? You dispatch people to search across the other six domains to look for their traces. Also, make a simulation for a child from them and look for such faces too."
"Of course, you don't need to use too many resources on this. After all, it may not be possible that they can make it out of there."
The old man continued to advise the middle-aged man.
"Ok, Father."
said Ghann. As they were talking, a young male child walked into the castle hall.
"Grandpa!!"
He called out.
"Aiyooo... My dear Lasa,"
The creased old man's face eased up a bit as he suddenly vanished from where he was initially sitting and appeared close to the child and picked up the boy.
"Grandpa, I'm no longer a baby. Why are you still picking me up?" The child complained.
"Well, you're barely four. To me, you're as good as being in the stomach." "Hahaha!!"
In the Acaulii village. An old man going home with his daughter was a normal sight on this street. But something seemed off today.
"Old Man Basse, did you adopt another child?"
A woman from the neighborhood asked the old man. Before the girl could talk, the old man quickly shouted
"Yes!"
"But why is it so small this time around? Are you planning to breastfeed him, too?"
The woman kept asking.
"He's a boy."
said the old man, who pretended like he didn't hear any of her questions. However, Old Man Basse was also wondering if it would be okay to feed this child milk from livestock; after all, he cannot possibly make breast milk, nor can the little lass he was living with.
'Or do I need to go hunt for a powerful beast's milk for him?'
This thought was later proved to be absolutely useless because this child never needed milk growing up. In fact, he started with eating solid food, totally unlike a normal child. He still drank the milk, though, but the old man knew that it was just like another meal for him.
The old man wondered while walking. Soon, they walked into a compound that was quite big. It had plenty of edible fruit trees planted inside it, with a brick gate that surrounded it. Inside the compound was a not-too-tall building, painted green. The old man and co quickly entered the house after closing their gate and door.
"Shandha, quickly boil water and prepare a bath for him."
Shandha immediately ran out to prepare the bath, as instructed by Old Man Basse. The old man quickly bathed him.
"Grandpa, how do you know how to bathe children?"
Shandha's tiny voice sounded.
"Well, you grew up with me, didn't you?"
"That's different, Grandpa. I was already talking before I came to live with you. This baby is probably just a few weeks old."
"Ahhhh! Grandpa, he has a set of teeth."
Shandha screamed out to her grandpa, who was preparing milk to give to the child.
"Yeah, I saw that."
The old man replied with a slight frown. He was also flabbergasted, because just like the little lass, he also guessed the child was about two weeks old, but even if he didn't get the accurate date, it's still absurd for a child this little to grow teeth. What he didn't know, however, was that this child is just a day old.
"Boy, can you be normal for once?"
"You not only have long green hair and a pair of shiny green eyes, but you even have teeth, all with a bone age that's not even up to a month."
The old man muttered begrudgingly.
'This is one fucking weird child,' Old Man thought Basse in his head.
"Grandpa, can we feed him normal food, as he already has teeth?"
Shandha asked as she carefully looked at the child, who was also staring at them.
"Let's try,"
The old man agreed immediately.
"Bring a plate of cooked rice grains from the kitchen."
After some time, [...]
"Why is he eating so much?"
Little Shandha asked with widened eyes. The old man also looked on with amazement at the child, who just wolfed down a bowl of cooked rice grains.
Inside a cave on a snowy mountain, a female bear just gave birth to a little male bear.
"When is he coming back for crying out loud?"
The new mother was muttering when she heard a rustling sound from outside the cave. She quickly raised her head to look when a huge male bear walked in with a massive amount of flesh on its back.
"Look, Scraf, I got your congratulatory gift."
"Do you like it?"
"Quickly eat and recover more energy so that our son will be stronger in the future."
"I want him to be the strongest Pâlahâva bear in his generation in all of this mountain range."
"Why are you carrying a human child, too?" The mother bear asked the big male bear, who couldn't stop rambling about the mountain range and fighting peers.
"Ahhan!, I found this human child on my way up here. He looks rather interesting, so I brought him to be my boy's playmate when he grows up."
"Couldn't you find other playmates for him?
Did it have to be a human?
Besides,
Why's it so small? Who's supposed to breastfeed it?"
The mother bear threw a series of questions to the bear, who was already dumbfounded by the number of questions he was asked at the same time.
"I say, can you let me talk even once?" Big Grund looked at his wife incredulously.
"Stop staring; I'm asking because I won't breastfeed him. How do you expect him to survive?" "Ahhh, don't worry about him. I saw teeth in his mouth when I was bringing him here. We can feed him honeycomb and honey.
That's enough energy for him to grow up with.
Besides, he could survive days on this snowy mountain. I feel like he's very different from other humans. "Big Grund reassured his wife.
"As for his food later, he can just eat meat just like us."
'He's human after all; I heard they do several processings before they eat their food. Can he eat like us?'
It was now Bigg Grund's turn to wonder.
