Chapter 139 - CH 139 : We Need A PLAN!!

Twin suns hung above the endless green skies of Namek.

Their soft light washed over the three figures standing on a lonely ridge — Rudra, Trunks, and Gohan.

The alien air was still, carrying only the faint rustle of distant leaves and the soft hum of Namek's energy.

For a long while, none of them spoke.

Only their heavy breaths filled the silence.

Rudra stood at the edge of the cliff, his gaze lost on the horizon. The twin suns reflected in his eyes — bright, but distant. He could still feel it… that monstrous ki, echoing deep inside his soul like a scar that refused to fade.

Behind him, Trunks and Gohan watched, their hearts pounding, unsure whether to ask or simply wait.

Finally, Rudra exhaled — slow, weary, as though releasing a weight that had been crushing his chest.

"We're safe… for now," he said softly. "But I owe you both an explanation."

Trunks took a cautious step forward, his purple hair swaying in the Namekian breeze. "Rudra, what happened? Why did we run from Earth? You just disappeared and brought us here without warning. What's going on?"

Rudra's shoulders tensed. His voice lowered, steady but heavy.

"Because… Dr. Gero's ultimate creation has awakened."

The words dropped like stones into still water. The silence that followed was deafening. Even the wind seemed to pause.

Gohan blinked, uncertain. "Ultimate… creation?"

Rudra turned, his face pale but calm. "Perfect Cell."

The name alone sent a cold wave through the boys.

Trunks' pupils shrank. He'd heard rumors — fragments of Gero's experiments, whispered warnings about something that even the Androids feared.

And now, that nightmare was real.

"Cell… ?" Trunks whispered, almost not believing the words. "Who's That…?"

Rudra shook his head slowly. "He's a Monster, Created by Gero and now he's alive , Not just alive. He's awake — fully awakened. And far beyond anything I could have imagined."

He clenched his fists, his knuckles white. His mind replayed the moment — the sight of Cell forming that deadly Ki blade, the suffocating aura that nearly crushed him. Even now, his body trembled at the memory.

"When I faced him… I felt his power. It wasn't like anything I've ever sensed before. It wasn't just strong — it was monstrous. Terrifying. His energy didn't feel human, or even Saiyan. It was something else. Something unnatural."

Gohan swallowed hard, trying to imagine it. "But… how strong was he, really?"

Rudra's eyes darkened. "When I sensed his ki, I understood something. The difference between us wasn't like mountain and valley — it was like a pebble and a planet."

He looked down at his hand, clenching it slowly. "If I stood still, his power alone could crush me. I wasn't even an ant before him."

Trunks' breath caught.

He had seen Rudra's strength firsthand — a warrior who could face Android 17 and 18 head-on. For him to admit weakness so openly… that was terrifying in itself.

Rudra continued, voice low and hollow. "Even if we revived all the Z Fighters with the Dragon Balls, even if we all fought together… we wouldn't stand a chance against him. That's why I had to flee. If I hadn't… we would all be dead right now."

Trunks' fists trembled. "Then… that means Earth…"

He stopped mid-sentence, unable to finish.

Rudra nodded grimly. "Yes. If Cell moves freely, Earth's survival is measured in hours, not days."

The reality struck them both like a thunderclap.

Gohan's knees weakened; he took a small step back, staring at the ground. His small hands clenched into fists as his heartbeat pounded in his ears.

Trunks, meanwhile, felt his blood run cold. The air felt heavier, his breath shallow. Fear — raw and primal — coiled deep in his chest.

He finally spoke, his voice barely steady. "So what do we do now? How can we fight something like that?"

Rudra's eyes lifted toward the green horizon, glowing faintly under the suns. "We train. We become stronger than we ever imagined possible."

Trunks frowned. "You mean… training here, on Namek?"

Rudra shook his head. "No. Not here." He looked at both of them, his tone turning serious. "I'm talking about training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber."

The moment the words left his mouth, both Trunks and Gohan froze.

"The Time Chamber?" Gohan repeated in disbelief. "But that's… back on Earth!"

Trunks' mind immediately caught up. "Wait, Rudra. Are you saying we should spend two years inside the Time Chamber? That's… what, two days in the real world?"

Rudra nodded. "Exactly. Two years of training compressed into two days. If we can use that time — truly use it — we might stand a chance."

But then Gohan frowned, worry clouding his young face. "But how? If the chamber's on Earth, we'd have to go back. And if Cell can sense us…"

Rudra's expression grew grim again. "That's the problem. Cell can sense ki across the entire planet. The moment we return, he'll feel our presence. And with his speed…"

He paused, looking down. "He could reach us in seconds."

The words hit like ice. Trunks' and Gohan's eyes widened in shock.

"Seconds?" Trunks echoed. "You mean he can move that fast?"

Rudra hesitated — then closed his eyes. "No. Not just fast. He can travel instantly."

The boys went completely still.
