Chapter 159 - CH 159 : Vegeta Achieved SSJ3 Before Goku

The silence of space was never truly silent.

It hummed — with vibrations, echoes, and the faint remnants of dying worlds.

And at that moment, somewhere in the black canvas of the cosmos, Perfect Cell laughed.

Each laugh echoed with destruction.

He drifted across galaxies like a plague, tearing through civilizations one after another. The energy of fallen stars, the screams of countless species, and the chaos of collapsing worlds all became fuel for his ever-growing power.

Every time a planet perished, a pulse of energy scattered — fragments of ki, dissolving into invisible waves that rippled through the universe. Hours later, those vibrations reached the Milky Way, brushing against a certain warrior's extended sense.

Rudra opened his eyes.

His aura shimmered faintly as his calm expression shifted to mild irritation.

"So... he's done it again," Rudra muttered, eyes narrowing. "Cell destroyed another solar system… in a different galaxy this time."

He rose slowly, brushing off imaginary dust from his shoulder.

To anyone else, the news of planetary annihilation would have been terrifying. But for Rudra — it was merely a signal. A whisper reminding him that the monster he'd once unleashed had now gone too far.

He sighed. "To be honest, I don't give a damn about those civilizations... But still—" a small smirk tugged at his lips— "Cell's getting stronger. That's interesting."

His gaze shifted upward as if peering through invisible walls of reality.

"I wonder if Beerus will get punished for this," Rudra said casually, tilting his head. "Destroying worlds is his job, right? If someone else is doing it, that's technically a crime, isn't it?"

A pause. His tone darkened slightly.

"Well, whatever. It's not like I care... But I can't let Cell continue to grow. Not now. Not when Trunks and Goten are still training in the chamber."

He clenched his fist, sensing faint but familiar presences.

"They'll be out in a day. That's all I need to buy them. One day."

He turned his head slightly, his sharp eyes glowing faintly blue.

"I can feel it... The Supreme Kai is watching. Observing. Probably wondering what I'll do about Cell. And—" he smirked again— "if my gut feeling's right, Whis is also watching me right now."

The air around him shimmered with cosmic pressure.

"Huh," Rudra exhaled, gripping his sword by its hilt. "Let's see how much I've grown."

With a swift slash in the air, he tore open space itself — a portal swirling in blue and gold light. He stepped in without hesitation.

---

King Kai's Planet

A bright flash erupted in the calm, green-tinted sky of the tiny world.

Rudra emerged from the portal, his boots pressing lightly against the curved ground of King Kai's planet. The familiar smell of grass and divine air filled his senses.

Ahead of him, two figures were training — Goku and Vegeta — their Super Saiyan auras crackling like lightning storms.

King Kai, hovering nervously at a distance, blinked when he saw Rudra appear. "R-Rudra?! What brings you here?! I thought you were busy managing the situation on Earth!"

Before Rudra could answer, Goku turned mid-punch. "Hey! Rudra!" he called out with his cheerful grin, waving like an old friend.

Vegeta's reaction, however, was instant and hostile.

The Saiyan prince stopped mid-fight, his aura flaring to life like a roaring flame. "You!" he growled, eyes burning with fury.

Rudra barely had time to greet them. "Hey, hello guys—"

Before he could finish, Vegeta dashed forward.

The ground beneath him cracked and exploded from the force of his leap. In a split second, Vegeta's punch was inches away from Rudra's face.

But instead of blocking, Rudra stood perfectly still.

THUD!

A sudden impact stopped Vegeta's punch midair. Goku had appeared between them, catching Vegeta's wrist just in time.

"Whoa, whoa! Vegeta, calm down!" Goku said, his cheerful tone now edged with tension. "What are you doing?! You just saw him!"

"Get out of the way, Kakarot!" Vegeta shouted, his aura flaring with raw gold energy. "He needs to be taught a lesson!"

Rudra exhaled softly, almost bored. "A lesson? For what exactly?"

Vegeta gritted his teeth. "For letting my son and that kid Gohan fight Cell! For not bringing us back when you had the chance! You think it was a smart move letting children fight monsters?!"

The ground trembled beneath Vegeta's rage.

Even Goku had to brace himself.

Rudra's calm expression didn't waver. His eyes softened slightly — not in pity, but in understanding.

"Vegeta," he said evenly, "you need to trust your blood."

"What?" Vegeta barked, his golden aura flickering.

"Tell me one thing," Rudra continued, stepping closer. "If I did bring you back… would you have been able to stop Cell?"

That question pierced through the air like a blade.

For a moment, silence.

Then Vegeta's face twisted with prideful anger. He clenched his fists, screaming as his ki burst outward.

Lightning sparked around his body as the air warped under pressure.

"I'll show you what I'm capable of!" Vegeta roared.

The tiny planet shook violently.

Golden light engulfed him as his aura transformed — his hair spiking higher, lightning dancing around his frame.

Super Saiyan 2.

But Vegeta wasn't done.

With another primal scream, he forced his ki to rise even higher. His muscles tensed, veins bulged, and his aura exploded into a hurricane of golden energy. The light became almost blinding as the gravity around the planet trembled.

"RRRAAAAAHHHHH!!!"

Goku shielded his eyes from the storm.

"Vegeta! You're gonna blow the planet apart!" he shouted, though deep down, he was impressed.

The roar continued until the air itself shattered with sound.

And when it stopped — standing in the center of the destruction was Vegeta, his hair long and wild, his aura flickering with golden lightning.

Super Saiyan 3.

Rudra watched quietly, his expression unreadable.

"So tell me, Rudra," Vegeta said between heavy breaths, his voice deeper, laced with arrogance. "Do you still think I can't beat Cell?"

The ground beneath him cracked, unable to handle his sheer power.

Rudra crossed his arms and tilted his head. "Tell me something, Vegeta… Was it Goku who achieved this form first?"

Goku blinked, scratching his head awkwardly. "Ah, actually… no, Rudra. I gotta admit, Vegeta discovered this form before me. I just—" he smiled sheepishly— "fixed it up later and mastered it."

"Hmph!" Vegeta smirked proudly. "Don't steal the credit, Kakarot."

King Kai, still trembling from the overwhelming ki, whispered, "These two are gonna destroy my planet one day…"

Rudra looked between the two Saiyans, his aura faintly pulsing in resonance. For the first time in a long while, a faint smile touched his lips.

He thought to himself, I was certain that once Trunks and Goten completed their training, they'd be enough to handle what's coming… but I didn't expect Goku and Vegeta to evolve this fast.

The realization was both surprising and thrilling.

As the golden light of the Saiyans flickered against the calm horizon of King Kai's planet, Rudra stood silently — sword resting on his shoulder, a quiet storm forming in his eyes.
