Chapter 178 - CH 178 : Beerus' Planet

The battlefield on Earth was silent.

Smoke drifted lazily through the shattered sky, and the air still trembled with the echoes of Cell's overwhelming presence. The Z Fighters stood together, wounded, exhausted, yet unwilling to look away from Rudra.

Rudra slowly turned toward them.

"This is where I leave," he said calmly.

Gohan's eyes widened.

"Leave… where?"

Rudra smiled faintly.

"To the only place where this madness can end."

Vegito stepped forward instantly.

"No." His voice was firm. "You are not going alone."

Rudra shook his head.

"If you follow, this universe ends faster."

Vegeta's anger surged through Vegito's veins.

"You think you can shoulder everything by yourself?" he snapped. "We fused for a reason."

Rudra met Vegito's gaze.

"And that reason was to buy time. You did that perfectly."

Cell crossed his arms, amused.

"Enough with the emotional drama. Let's go, Rudra. I am getting impatient."

Vegito clenched his fists.

"Rudra, wait!"

But it was already too late.

Rudra grabbed Cell's arm tightly.

The space around them twisted.

In an instant, both of them vanished.

The Z Fighters stared at the empty sky, realization striking too late.

"No…" Vegito muttered.

---

The world reformed around Rudra in complete silence.

A sky painted in soft purples and gold stretched endlessly above them. The ground beneath their feet was smooth and unnatural, as if reality itself had been carefully arranged. Strange trees swayed gently despite the absence of wind.

Cell looked around with interest.

"So this is it… Beerus' planet."

A calm voice echoed behind them.

"Oh my, oh my."

Rudra turned sharply.

A tall figure stood there, holding a staff with a glowing orb at its tip. His pale blue skin gleamed softly, and his eyes were filled with playful curiosity.

"I was wondering when you two would arrive," the man said with a gentle chuckle.

Cell smirked.

"And you must be the angel."

Whis bowed slightly.

"Whis, at your service."

Rudra swallowed hard.

Whis had already seen everything.

"You were watching," Rudra said quietly.

"Of course," Whis replied cheerfully. "Such an entertaining conflict would be a shame to miss."

Rudra hesitated before asking the question that made his chest tighten.

"Where… where is Beerus sleeping?"

Whis turned and raised his staff, pointing toward a massive tree standing far away.

Beneath it was a small, peaceful house.

Cell's smile widened.

"So that's where the strongest being sleeps."

Then he laughed.

"I do not attack sleeping opponents," Cell said proudly. "Wake him up, Rudra. Let him see Perfect Cell with his own eyes."

Rudra's heartbeat thundered in his ears.

His palms grew cold.

He remembered everything.

Even asleep, Beerus could erase existence with Hakai.

One mistake. One wrong movement. And everything would vanish.

Rudra took a slow breath.

"I need a moment," he muttered.

Cell rolled his eyes.

"Do not take too long."

Rudra closed his eyes.

Then suddenly, he vanished.

Cell frowned.

"Hm?"

Rudra reappeared on Earth in an instant.

The city streets were quiet. People were rebuilding their lives, unaware of how close annihilation had come.

Rudra rushed into a small shop.

"I need fifty boxes of ramen," he said urgently.

The shopkeeper blinked.

"Fifty?"

Rudra slapped the money down.

"Right now."

Moments later, he vanished again.

Back on Beerus' planet, Cell raised an eyebrow as Rudra appeared holding multiple stacked boxes.

Whis burst into laughter.

"Oh my," Whis said, covering his mouth. "That is brilliant."

Rudra placed the boxes down and looked at Whis.

"I heard Beerus likes food."

Whis' eyes sparkled.

Rudra handed him a bowl.

"Ramen. From Earth."

Whis took a bite.

Then another.

His smile widened.

"Delightful. Absolutely delightful."

Cell stared in disbelief.

"You crossed time and space… for noodles?"

Rudra didn't reply.

After finishing the bowl, Whis straightened and tapped his staff lightly against the ground.

"Well then," he said cheerfully. "I suppose it is time."

Rudra's heart raced.

"I will wake Lord Beerus," Whis continued calmly.

Cell's excitement grew.

"At last."

Far away, beneath the giant tree, something ancient stirred.

The universe trembled.

And Rudra realized, with terrifying clarity, that everything from this point forward rested on what happened next.
