' Holy shit that worked?? '
After I had confessed my feelings back then I intended to take it slow however it was Christine who changed his mind.
She kept saying that if I did nothing after that then it would seem as if he was playing with Isabella and instead, I should try to make another move.
' I thought she had just read too many romance novels '
In fact, I was highly sceptical of the whole thing however in the end I still decided to give it a try, it was closer to gambling than anything else, but as she accepted, I found myself stuck on another problem.
" What do I do now though... "
While I had some experience on going out on dates they were all from my previous world not this one and the original Nicholos didn't have any at all, well any normal experience at least. Still, I had till Wednesday to inform Isabella so by that time I should be able to figure out something.

Nothing, even after an hour and a half of continues thinking the total date ideas where zero. Staring into the sky in a daze the sound of footsteps nearing reached my ears. Turning around I found Christina coming his way.
' What is she doing here? Shouldn't she be in class '
That question was however answered by Christine who stood before me with a guilt ridden look on her face.
" Are you ok? "
" Hmm? "
" The lecture ended but you didn't show up so I got worried that something might have happened "
As Christine explained the situation, I finally realized why she was looking in such a way, she must have thought that I was too tired because of the previous practical which while true wasn't the reason I skipped the lecture.
" Christine "
" Y..yes "
" I asked Isabella on a date "
"Eh..."
" She said yes, so I have been sitting here thinking about where to go "
As Christine registered his words her body started shaking before she outright starting to jump in place her eyes shining with excitement, normally she wouldn't ever exhibit such behaviour in a public place but that didn't seem to matter to her at the moment.
" Really, really... What did you say... Did you do it here...When's the date...are you going to dinner or is it going to be a whole day..."
Hearing Christines's endless barrage of questions I gave a warry smile as he answered all the questions that I had the answers to.
" Yes, and yes.... I asked her to go on the weekend.... Yes, I did it here.... most probably Saturday.... I still haven't decided "
Nodding her head vigorously at everything I said I had genuinely started worrying about her neck, thankfully she started to calm down as she took some deep breaths and sat down.
" Ok... Ok, this is a big deal we first should start by hearing out the plans you have for the date "
As she said so she turned towards me waiting for my reply but as the time started to pass with no reply to her the previous look anticipation slowly became more awkward.
" Sir Nicholos " She called out her tone filled with unease
" Could it be that you don't have a plan "
" .... "
" No way "
Faced with the look of astonishment that Christine was giving me I couldn't help but look the other way even though I felt it was unfair.
' Of course I had no plan, I never thought I'd make it this far in the first place '
" No wait that might be better "
a mutter suddenly came to be causing my subtle musings about his injustice to be cut short
" What do you mean that's better "
I asked back unsure of what I heard but was met with the face of Christine who seemed to be planning something

Hearing the countless mutterings of Christine a single thought crossed my mind

After the twenty-minute lecture about what to do I finally found himself free thanks to the fact that the next lecture was about to begin.
Entering the classroom I quickly found Jake and Elizabeth who were sitting in a corner faces all red, perhaps noticing me Jake looked at me which I replied to by turning around and subtly gesturing to Christine to get closer.
Seemingly understanding what I was about to do Jake hurriedly shook his head, but I ignored it and went on to whisper a couple of words to Christine which caused the later to gasp in shock before looking at them with sparkling eyes.
Like that wasn't enough instead of sitting at my usual seat I moved up sitting right in front of them. Belatedly realising what was happening Elizabeth raised her head staring at the duo who was sitting in front of her especially Christine who kept side eyeing her.
" Eh... Sir Nicholos and Christine this is the first time you had changed you seating " she inquired trying to understand the situation
Looking at her with the same smile as always I pointed towards Christine before answering
" Well Christine is a lover of romance novels and so am I, so we simply came closer to watch the live performance "
Explaining it such a way Elizabeths face turned redder, while Jake started outright glaring at me who continued to wear an amused smile, this all stopped as Christine finally gathered the courage to speak a shy smile on her face
" Congratulations "
Her words hanging in the air seemed to cool down the heated atmosphere as Elizabeth stared at her which caused her to start talking again.
" Ah... I didn't mean to offend you it is just that you seemed happy, and you are friends with Sir Nicholos, so I wanted to..." She explained before trailing off her face full of embarrassment
Watching her Elizabeth stayed silent before she opened her mouth.
" So cute "
" Eh "
Christine having heard her let out a dumbfounded sound but that didn't stop Elizabeth who clung to Jake and started shaking him
" Did you see that, even when confused she looks cute!! Look her face is getting redder!! "
Yes, that was the reason I had decided to sit beside the new couple this time, while I did want to tease them a bit it was also an excuse for the usually shy Christine to talk to them.
' It didn't matter what she said because Elizabeth would have ate it up either way '
Elizabeth was someone who adored cute things and while Christine may not be a kid her inherent looks and pure reactions made her more adorable than anyone to Elizabeth.
' They were like sisters in the original novel '
Watching them a warm feeling started to spread in my chest, sadly that was cut short by Christine words who was recounting the events of the day under the constant questions of Elizabeth.
" And finally, I was helping Sir Nicholos in figuring what to do on his date with Miss Isabella "
" Wait what!? "
This time it was Jakes turn to stare at her as she finished before slowly turning his head towards me or at least where I used to be after all I had long left the seat having arrived in the front of the class.
' I can feel the glare '
Sitting down I gestured towards Christine who feeling the atmosphere excused herself and left to sit beside me causing a look of regret to flash on Elizabeths face.
Thankfully before Jake could decide to do anything the door opened as the instructor came in, however his appearance only caused me more of a headache
' Right this guy also existed ' seeing him I rubbed the bridge between my eyes
