And far away, with Krish, he smoothly landed in front of a military camp, and in front of him was a figure he recognized
" Aren't you supposed to be in the UN or something?" And krish didn't reply and walked forward, and several soldiers grabbed their weapon tightly, and seeing this Whittaker said.
" Don't waste your time, it has no effect." And everyone there calmed down, still having little vigilance towards him.
" What do you want?" Ask Whitaker, not wasting his time, involuntarily his eyes looked at his wound which was still fresh.
" I want to meet them." And Whitaker raised his eyebrows.
" You are overstepping your boundaries too much now, this is country level secret, you can't casually walk in a war zone asking to talk to a terrorist even though you capture them." And krish didn't look fazed, but instead asked.
" Why don't you let me go meet them, or I'll go myself to meet them." naked threat, it's a naked threat anyone who heard this can understand this, and so do Whitaker, one of the soldiers was getting too much excited, he was about to say something, when Whitaker timely stopped him.
" Ok then, but you have to go there my way."
And in the military car, Krish was sitting in the middle of two soldiers, and in front of him was three more, one of them being Elena, and there were lots of awkward moments in the car..
And soon they reached an area which looked like a military base, a proper concert built military base in Iraq. Krish came out from military car, and saw the building in front of him, it was a big rectangular building, which wasn't friendly at all.
" The one you caught is there, we have taken out whatever they know, there is nothing worth knowing, just their normal nonsense. I don't know what you want to know by coming here." Krish ignored his words, and followed him inside the building, gaining the attention of everyone in the area, some of them even took out their phones to take pictures.
Krish walked past them, and soon reached an area which was addressed as an interrogation room by Whitaker. He gave him five minutes to ask any questions, and after that, he had to come out. Krish nodded, and then slowly opened the interrogation room, where he saw a bruised man in bandages sitting, his hands chained.
He looked up when the door of the room opened, and he saw a figure in black coming from the door.
He didn't flinch, but looked straight in his eyes. Krish also noticed, and looked at him, his eyes trying to read him. And like Sakshi said he couldn't figure out anything, he sat in front of him, and the terrorist's eyes never left him, and he asked a question.
" Come to gloat about your victory?"
" Why did you do that?" He asked, not wanting to listen to his chatter. And outside in the watching room, a group of people were huddled like they were watching a show or a performance.
And inside, Krish was waiting for the answer, but got none. He leaned forward and asked again.
" Why did you destroy Basra?" and this time. The man looked at him.
" Why did you destroy Brazil?" He asked back instead.
" It was Arya, not me."
" Arya, you, same thing. You brought the war. Basra was our answer, our fire to burn your lies. Why do you keep fighting us, knowing the blood it spills?"
" I have no conflict with you, I have never even crossed paths before." Krish stated his voice going dangerously low.
" No conflict with us? You exist, Krish—that's the conflict. You fly in, play god, and think you're innocent? Basra wasn't spite. It was a sacrifice to wake the Savior, to end your shadow over us. Those souls were the price to stop a false God. Why do you act like you're above the blood you spill?"
" This guy is a complete lunatic." said Elena to commander Whitaker.
" So you killed those people because you don't like me?" And krish, gripped the table.
" Don't like you? It's not about liking, Krish. You're a blight, a false savior, strutting above our heads, sparking chaos wherever you go. You think we'd kill for nothing? Why do you keep acting like you're the hero, when your fights bury our people in rubble? You brutally beat us up, picked us like we are nothing, who gave you the power?"
" Then who gave you the power to kill those people?"
" No one, it was our savior. We can not leave under your shadow forever, He is destined to save us all, from you, from the people who destroy my home." And he was getting emotional.
" You think you have stopped the savior? No he will come back, to save us all, to kill you, the false God."
" Why are you calling me a false God?"
" False God? Because you parade as a savior, Krish, wielding power no man should have. You stopped Arya, saved millions, but where were you when my home was being burnt, where were you when my child was pointed a gun at, where were you when I was treated as a dog on lease, where were you when my people needed you to save us. Is your saving only for your people? Why didn't you answer our calls, if you are a savior, why didn't you save us? Our faith calls for a true Savior, not you, not your lies. Why do you think you deserve to judge us, when your hands are stained too?" and Krish becomes silent.
" I'm just a human. I can't save everyone." Krish said in a calm and low voice."
" Then why are you acting like a God?"
" I never-"
" Stop lying?" The man yelled, his chains crackling loudly, and even Krish looked at him, his grip tightening. . His voice dropped, venomous and trembling with hatred and envy.
" You could have saved them all. You could have." And be calmed. And said while looking down.
" First you save a cat, then people, then the world. Today you solve one person's problems; tomorrow a city's; next a country's. People will worship you, bowing to you. You slowly become their savior, their God—one who fixes everything, one who saves them. You, by solving all their problems, not always but there that once things got worse you'll show up. But you didn't. You give them hope that you are there. " and he looked up.
" And you know what's more dangerous than war? False hope. That's why you are a false God—you gave hope but didn't delivered. Imagine the face of those Two million people, how happy they where when you arive. And what was there expression when they saw you leave. We never planed to succed Krish. We never did. Everyone and each has a suside waist, as soon as we saw you. BOOM." And he made a boom gesture.
" Not millions, but thousands at least. You could have save them, not all, and maybe all. But you didn't. That's what I despise you." And he leaned forward.
" You have godlike power but you listen to mortal. Why does a mortals word affects a being like you. " And he swallowed, his breath rasped.
"Tell me, Krish… could you have saved all the lives in Basra if you had used your full strength? If you hadn't listened to the US Army and just acted? Would you have saved them?"
Krish didn't answer immediately. His's eye bored into him.
"You could have stopped it easily," Tariq continued, voice rising. "You're a godlike being, yet you listened to mortals. And see what happened? You have seemingly endless power—you could have saved every single one of them, but you didn't. Your inaction caused all that tragedy. You could have prevented it all."
Outside in the watching room, Elena Torres turned to Colonel Whitaker, her voice low and tense.
"This guy is a complete lunatic… but he's hitting a nerve. Look at Krish—he's actually hesitating."
Whitaker's jaw tightened, eyes fixed on the monitor. One of the younger soldiers muttered, " Maybe's he is -"
"Quiet," Whitaker snapped, but his own face showed unease. The room was dead silent, every man watching Krish's reaction.
Inside, Krish's voice remained calm, but there was a slight edge now.
"I listened because I don't want to I interfere in there there job. Fighting terrorist like you is there duty. Not mine." The muttering outisde stopped, and the terrorist looked at him.
" I could you dug you from the sand where you were buried, or could have buried you deeper where you hide whenever I want. I could have stop you from ever thinking about being terrorist."
" But i didn't. Not because I can't, because I don't want too. I wanted to save people, not kill them." And this time Krish leaned forward, his green eyes glowing. The tterrorist chuckled, and leaned back
" That's what I was saying." And he looked at him again.
" You are a God bound by chains." And he laughed bis chains retelling.
" That's why we need a true Savior—one who would never hesitate, one who would save us, not weigh lives like numbers. You are the false God, Krish. And that's why the bomb was never meant to stop you—it was meant to make you break free, to make you see how pitiful you really are when you hold back."
Krish looked at him, voice low.
"Did you succeed?"
and Krish looked at him.
" What do you think?" And Whitaker entered the room.
" Time is up, he needs to be locked up." And Krish saw him. Being dragged out from the room, his eyes never leave Krish's figure for a moment, and yelled his way back.
" I wanted you to remember this failure, I wanted you to remember that your heroism is just a mask for you, I want you to remenber, I wanted you to realise what you truly are." And Krish looked at him leaving back.
And outside Krish stood in front of the Building facing the sky, eyes closed, lost in thought.
" You don't believe his nonsense do you?" came the voice of her sister from his earpiece.
Krish recalls the conversation, and says lightly.
" Can I save everyone?"
" This again. No one can save everyone, not even God, that guy was just extreme. I can see jealousy written on his face. And don't listen to him, not everyone thinks like that, most people in the world still think you are a marketing stunt done by big companies." And krish chuckled.
" Maybe you are right, maybe he is also. I can never be God, I started this just to save people who were around me, then it shifted to something more." And he opened his eyes and looked at the sky.
" Sakshi, do you think I should stop?"
" What do you mean stop?"
And as he looked around, a group of people started to gather around him, looking from a far.
" Nothing." He said, and lifted up in the sky and flew away.
