To say I wasn't at all surprised by what we found wouldn't entirely be incorrect, yet the slight exasperation that I felt when we stared down into a shallow pit in the forest that housed three dozen or so Cultists was still there.
I knew that the mental state of these people had to be somewhat 'interesting' and that anyone who willingly submitted themselves to something as horrible as a Demon definitely wouldn't be considered 'good' people, but what I saw was just... proving that point to a tee.
Dozens of crates and barrels were strewn about the place filled with all sorts of supplies, tents were hastily constructed wherever these people felt like placing them, a few different fires burnt at different intensities...
Carcasses of various woodland creatures were in various states of dismemberment or even decay, and then of course these people were in the midst of forgoing any semblance of structure or order as they just engaged in a gigantic orgy.
