The woman's scream was all too familiar, causing Thea Shaw and Zia Sutton to turn their heads.
Zia, a little tipsy but still somewhat cognizant, immediately asked loudly, "Who is it?"
The screaming inside the car suddenly quieted, but Thea sensed it was because someone had forcibly covered her mouth.
Zia, more impulsive than usual, rushed over to knock on the car window, "Hey, hey, hey... Do you need any help?"
A man's gruff voice immediately bellowed from inside, "Get lost!"
As soon as he finished speaking, something happened. He let out a cry of pain, followed by the woman screaming, "Help, please call the police, he wants to rape me!!"
In an instant, Zia's eyes widened, and she pounded the window even more fiercely, "Get out here now! In broad daylight, you're forcing yourself on an innocent woman!!"
Thea looked up at the sky. If not for the streetlights, they wouldn't even see a thing.
