Landon Ford said softly from the back, "Can I come too?"
The tone was inquisitive.
But Zia Sutton could tell that if she didn't agree, Landon might just lose his mind.
Of course, she immediately nodded vigorously: "Sure, of course you can, I'll wait for you guys downstairs!"
With that, she turned and ran.
She still needed to notify Celia Chambers about this nightmare of a development.
Thea Shaw glanced back at Landon, not saying much else but asking him, "Aren't you working tonight?"
Landon gave her a sidelong glance and said, "I can skip it."
Thea replied, "Certainly convenient to own your own company!"
Thea and Landon went downstairs together, where Zia had been waiting on the villa driveway for quite some time.
She even felt a melancholic urge to light a cigarette to express herself.
She had already mentioned that Landon would join them. Except for Aurora Sutton, who seemed surprised, Celia Chambers, who wasn't acquainted with Landon at all, showed no reaction.
