"Stop crying! Aren't you ashamed, making a scene in front of so many colleagues?"
Tyson Law stared impatiently at the girl's beautiful, pitiable face, his handsome but weary features flashing with disgust.
"Tyson, do you hate Fiona now?"
Fiona Vaughn bit her lip, her eyes ready to overflow with tears.
"Fiona... I just wanted to bring you a late-night snack. I've been waiting for you at home, but you never returned. The baby kept kicking me in my belly. The baby misses you too, Tyson. Won't you listen, just once?"
By now, Fiona understood that the child in her belly was her greatest weapon. She relied on the baby, hoping to win Tyson Law's sympathy.
But to her surprise, Tyson completely ignored her words. Instead, he stepped back quickly, as if Fiona was carrying some terrifying germ.
