A considerable number of them shuttle back and forth through teleportation gates, either transporting supplies or charging in with a murderous aura.
Or perhaps carrying the wounded out on stretchers.

Soon attracted the attention of some guards living in the surrounding mountains.
They swiftly flew to the mountaintop, surrounding the dragon and the goddess.
"Who are you people? What do you intend to do here?"
This group of beings had human-like upper bodies, but their lower halves were covered with tentacles.
The tentacles were also densely covered with fine dragon scales.
And each tentacle held a weapon: swords, guns, shields, spears, and even some firearms, among others.
Faced with Land and the Enchanting Demon Goddess, they were extremely vigilant.
"Is Fiona not here? Where has she gone? Off to conquer another plane again?"
