She was just about to get up and find another place to sit, when she heard the other party speak in a soft, gentle voice, "Excuse me, sister, do you have any companions coming? Um... I don't really like overly noisy scenes. This spot is pretty nice, if you're alone, could you let me have it?"
Su Jiameng almost broke the fork in her hand. This woman sounded pitiful, soft-spoken, but the contents of her words were quite unsettling. So, if she was alone, this couple would just kick her out, right?
Su Jiameng dismissed the idea of getting up, innocently placed the fork down, looked up at the woman and replied, "Auntie, you were speaking so vaguely earlier, I didn't quite hear it clearly. Could you please say it again?"
The woman's face changed quickly, and the young man beside her seemed displeased.
