In view of the unique macro environment of the Future Interstellar, a special group of individuals has emerged—those interstellar mercenaries hired by employers to help complete various tasks. Mercenaries are a peculiar group—there's no such thing as loyalty, only task completion, and when the payment is received, the employment relationship ends.
As a mercenary, you might complete an employer's commission one moment and the next moment receive a task to eliminate the employer. This is a group of unique people living life on the edge of a knife, and some of them may get rich overnight, while others may perish instantly in the Yellow Springs.
