The great fire at the Mahayana Buddha Palace burned for three days and nights.
Due to the fierce battle between the Esoteric Sect and the Demon Sect, where the Esoteric Monks suffered heavy casualties, no one was able to extinguish the fire. The Buddha Palace, built against the mountain, became a heap of ruins.
Rumor has it that only Sect Leader Fa Qing and Consort Luo, along with a few Esoteric monks, managed to escape and vanished without a trace.
