It feels like I've had a very long, long dream.
His consciousness was drifting somewhat drowsily, and the world in the dream seemed to be one completely unrelated to him. It didn't feel like he was dreaming; it felt more like he had accidentally entered some sort of dreamscape—
Unable to distinguish up from down.
Not knowing where the end is.
Suddenly, he found himself seemingly drifting in a night with no atmosphere. In the extreme distance was a star emitting light and heat. Then, as if drawn by something, he instinctively looked downward at the familiar, beautiful planet radiating a blue luminescence.
A dull echo was coming from deep within the Earth.
Then, he distinctly saw... the memory of the planet.
