However, Barrett-type firearms seemingly cannot manufacture Legendary equipment.
The reason is simple: Barrett guns lack technical content and only enhance the explosive energy when releasing bullets.
If you were to upgrade to Legendary level, the simplest example would be stuffing an intercontinental missile in the barrel, and using the high temperature and high pressure from the missile's explosion to shoot out a bullet.
This super alloy absolutely cannot withstand the explosion of an intercontinental missile.
So reaching the Legendary level might be unlikely, but enhancing its power or range is doable.
If the strength of the super alloy is high enough.
Barrett could turn into rapid-fire again, and taking down a Golden Level enemy with one shot isn't impossible.
