The Indian President's Office was built in 1929, originally named Victoria Palace. After India's independence, it was renamed the President's Office. The avenue leading to it is called "Kingsway." Although only a few dozen meters wide, it is home to various Central Cabinet Government institutions such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defense, and several other magnificent palaces.

What surprised Gu Ji a little was that the soldiers merely glanced over and allowed the convoy to pass without even conducting a security check. They first passed through a vast and beautiful garden, with lush trees and green lawns on both sides of the wide road, adorned with numerous fountains, ponds, pavilions, and corridors, until they reached the endpoint and stopped in front of a majestic palace-style building — the official residence of the President.

The security here was evidently much stricter.
