"Airplane! There's an airplane!!"
In the chaos, some villagers pointed to the sound of helicopter blades coming from afar, shouting desperately. The location where the helicopter was landing was not far away, just about three kilometers, which could be jokingly described as just a tap on the throttle away.
But the villagers, having already been incited by the Midnapore Special Zone police, now seeing the helicopter approaching, all thought it meant the military was about to take deadly action. Each of them became even more frenzied, swinging their sticks and hoes with full force, all crashing fiercely onto the riot shields.
It wasn't long before a policeman couldn't take it, and was accidentally struck on the thigh by a stick, toppling to the ground.
