Since the Tabby Cat has already been found and it's confirmed that the Smiling Tiger is now in Haizhou City, Lu Chuan called the Haizhou City Public Security Bureau Anti-drug Detachment.
The Anti-drug Detachment did not participate in earlier operations to maintain confidentiality and prevent exposure.
But now, evidently, there's no longer a need for that.
At the car rental company, when Lu Chuan arrived, a detachment from the Anti-drug team had already reached the scene.
Although the traffic police found that the car was rented, no one knew if there was any relation between the rental company and any suspects.
Gao Feng, upon receiving the news, immediately gathered a detachment to seal off the entire car rental company.
This is the biggest difference between anti-drug criminal police work and regular criminal police work: it emphasizes confidentiality to the extreme.
"Officers... What did we do wrong?"
