An Hao put on her flowery blue dress, it was the only nice dress she had since she didn't dabble in fashion like other girls. She snuck past An Jian's room and peaked through a hole in the paper windows seeing An Jian sleeping soundly spread out like a star fish. She wanted to open the door and giveAn Jian one last hug, but this was not the time. She snuck out of Wen Long Academy and headed towards the outskirts of the city to the previously makeshift bandit hideout. Someone followed her and when she turned around it was Li Zhao. Li Zhao put his hand out "I'm not here to stop you, I will help you with whatever you are doing". An Hao smiled and walked over to the hideout and opened the door. Lying on the floor were four men gagged. When Li Zhao stepped closer for a look, it seemed all the men had their arms and legs broken, it was quite the cruel sight. Li Zhao hesitated then said "These are men deserving of this?" An Hao smiled, "Maybe I'm just evil and you are too dumb to realize it." Li Zhao walked closer and looked at one of the men's faces which seemed familiar, his poster had been posted all around the city for beating his two children to death so he could be with his new mistress. The other three men, Li Zhao, didn't recognize but he assumed similar levels of depravity.
An Hao looked at Li Zhao playfully "If you are going to help then help me move these men" pointing to an open space where she wanted them moved. Li Zhao wanted to ask for what reason, but decided he would just help as he said he would and began dragging the men who screamed in pain as their broken limbs dragged on the ground. An Hao then moved closer into Li Zhao's personal space until she was right up against him like she was going to give him a kiss but in an instant pressed her finger on a few pressure points, freezing him in place.
Li Zhao couldn't move or speak and looked at An Hao intensely feeling betrayed. An Hao walked around him with a smirk but also looked at him with sadness behind the smile. "This is my last night here, as you can see I can barely control myself, one little mistake and I would ruin An Jian's future and my family's name. Even you will be ruined by me if we continue this nonsense". An Hao then looked up into the night sky, "Take care of An Jian for me, don't tell her what I have become". An Hao then walked close, putting her face right up to Li Zhao, "Go find a good wife and live a good life, I will live my best life too". She then walked over to the four men who started wiggling in fear when An Hao came closer.
Li Zhao watched as An Hao started mumbling and placed her hand on one of the men's faces, draining them of their life then touching the space in front of her creating something like a water ripple in the air. She did this three more times until all the men were dead and there were four water like ripple marks in the air which seemed to solidify into a distorted space. An Hao looked at Li Zhao one last time calmly believing this would be the best for everyone and stepped into the distortion. Li Zhao's face turned red as he struggled and struggled focusing his qi until finally he was able to break free and move again. He ran towards the distortion and grabbed at the sash that was left floating half in the distortion and half in this world. The distortion suddenly closed in on itself, getting smaller and smaller until it disappeared. Li Zhao sat there holding the sash, unsure what had happened to An Hao but he couldn't feel An Hao existence anymore, it was like she was no longer in this world. Tears started to roll down his eyes as he sat motionless.
"Li Zhao, is that you? Is An Hao with you?"
Li Zhao snapped out of his depression and saw An Jian fast approaching, he remembered An Hao's words telling him not to let An Jian know what happened to her and before he knew it, he was running away as fast as he could to get away from what just happened and this nightmare of a reality he was in.
The last thing An Jian would see that night was Li Zhao running away holding An Hao's sash and An Hao would become a missing person from that night forward and Li Zhao a wanted man.
