"Take caution. Do not face Uchiha alone."
Yuki Shuto informed his subordinates.
"Shuto-sama, let me fight them."
"No, Morikawa, you and I will face Uchiha Sosuke and Fukashi. They are Uchiha clan head and Uchiha's strongest ninja."
"Hoh~ I see. I wonder if Uchiha knows how to dance."
Morikawa gave a blood thirsty smile as he licked his lip; his eyes were filled with madness and bloodlust.
"Yuki Shuto… and a Kaguya member…"
"Watch out Sosuke. This Kaguya clansmen is not simple. Not to mention the fact that both of them have Kage level strength… I might have to overexert myself for a bit."
Fukashi did not hesitate and directly opened his Mangekyo Sharingan. The unique pattern on his crimson iris and the blood stain running down his left cheek gave off an eerie aura.
"I see, no wonder he's the strongest of Uchiha. That strange pattern must be the rumored Mangekyo Sharingan." Yuki Shuto immediately closed his eyes and cast a jutsu.
Hijutsu: Hyoton: Yukinokokudo秘術・氷遁・雪の国土 (Secret technique: Ice release: Snow realm)
The temperature began to drop rapidly and the battlefield started to snow. Shuto expended half of his chakra to change the weather but he did not care. The snow became his eyes for him to sense where his enemies were located. And it also acted as a medium for him to transfer chakra, which can be used to cast simple techniques like Genjutsu release. All of the snows falling on the battlefield were part of his own chakra.
"Alright, Morikawa, Stage is set. You do not need to worry about genjutsu now, dance as much as you want."
"Hehehe. I knew that you are the best Shuto-sama."
Kaguya Morikawa no longer hesitated and launched himself towards the two Uchihas.
Yanagi no Mai柳の舞 (Dance of the willow)
White sharp dense bones poked out of Morikawa's joints, shoulders, and palm as he reached the space in between Uchiha Sosuke and Uchiha Fukashi.
"KAI!" Yuki Shuto shouted as he utilized his chakra.
In the short moment that Kaguya Morikawa jumped towards Sosuke and Fukashi, Fukashi cast a genjutsu on him. However, Yuki Shuto immediately sensed the irregular chakra pattern within Morikawa and dispelled the genjutsu on him through the snows touching Morikawa.
"?!!!" "Fukashi, the snow is connected to that Yuki clan member, he can dispel the genjutsu through the snow."
"But that was a genjutsu cast by Mangekyo!"
"Rember that Shuto is also a Kage level ninja. I don't know when you awakened your eyes, but clearly you did not have proper opportunities to train them. Since your mangekyo is no longer a secret, do not hesitate to train them in the future."
Fukashi gritted his teeth in regret. After Madara advised him to not use Noro again, he rarely used his eyes, he wanted to honor his sensei's advice and also did not want to alert Tobirama. His Mangekyo abilities lacked offensive techniques, so he did not challenge Tobirama until now.
With Sharingan, Sosuke and Fukashi successfully dodged Morikawa's 'dance' and separated some distance from him. Morikawa was a Taijutsu specialist, if not for Fukashi's Mangekyo sharingan and Sosuke's mature sharingan, they would not have been able to dodge Morikawa's 'dance' successfully.
Katon Gokakyu no Jutsu !! 火遁・豪火球の術 (Fire release : Great Fireball Technique!)
Two massive fireballs launched from left and right of Morikawa. But they began to shrink due to the snow.
Osawarabi no Mai小早蕨の舞 (Dance of small seedling Fern)
Hundreds of blades of bones rose from the ground, intercepting the giant fireball hurling towards Morikawa. Morikawa then brandished his right hand towards his back and began to draw out his spinal cord
Tessenka no Mai: Tsuru鉄線化の舞・蔓 (Dance of Clematis: Vine)
Morikawa swung his spinal cord, extending it like a whip towards Sosuke.
"Damn it." Sosuke created a hand sign before the bone whip can reach him. By the time he was wrapped in Morikawa's spinal cord, his body exploded into a smoke, replaced with a log.
Morikawa did not give up and continued to chase after Sosuke with a bloodthirsty smile. His eyes were bloodshot, filled with madness and obsession. Fukashi did not miss Morikawa's abnormality and ambushed his back with a kunai.
Puchi!
"?!" Fukashi's Kunai drew blood, but he sensed his kunai's tip chipped off, as if it just hit an indestructible metal wall. Before Fukashi could react, clusters of bone punctured out of Morikawa's back and pierced Fukashi's wrist.
Karamatsu no Mai唐松の舞 (Dance of the Larch)
KUEK! Fukashi groaned in pain before retreating away from Morikawa.
"Is this the true shikotsumyaku? The strength and density of the bone is beyond belief. I haven't heard or read any record of such powerful ability in Kaguya clan that our ancestors encountered in the past. Is it something like our Mangekyo and Senju's Wood release? Rare and powerful Kekkei genkai ability that only few can master…"
Fukashi held on to his injured right wrist tightly as he pondered out loud.
"Hehehe. Uchiha. Is it only this much? No wonder you all abandoned us and became dogs of Senju. Why don't you join Kiri and become our dogs My Dogs. AHAHAHAHAHAHA."
Fukashi's eyes widened and his forehead bulged with veins. His mangekyo sharingan spun rapidly. He spoke slowly in a very cold and indifferent voice.
"I will show you, why Uchiha stood above all other clans, including your Kaguya clan for you."
SUSANOO!!!
Fukashi's body emitted cold, chilling yellow chakra as it slowly materialized into a skeletal giant. It did not stop here and formed a muscle fibers and meridians and layers of skin covered the chakra giant in a onmyoji like fashion. Yellow Susanoo raised both hands as magatama beads entangled with shimenawa formed in its right hand and mirror on the left hand.
"Heh~ let's see what you've got UCHIHA!"
Tessenka no Mai: Hana 鉄線化の舞・花 (Dance of Clematis: Flower)
Morikawa retracted his spine whip and formed a massive bone lance filled with concentrated Shikotsumyaku power. This was one of the most powerful techniques of Shikotsumyaku, a powerful lance that can penetrate almost anything in the world.
Fukashi remained standing, arrogantly looking down on Morikawa as he crossed his arms in front of his chest. He stared at Morikawa with disdain and arrogance as Morikawa charged with his bone lance. His Susanoo lowered its left hand and place its mirror in front of Morikawa's path.
Ishikoridome (Shinto god of Mirror; the god who created yata no kagami)
Morikawa was confident that he will win. He charged forward with an intent to break through the mirror and directly attack Fukashi. Before he crashed into the mirror, he saw a reflection of himself.
PUCHI!!
"???!!!!" Bleurgh!!
Morikawa's bone lance passed through the mirror dimension and punctured his own reflection and same wound appeared on his stomach.
"WHAT is this!!!" Morikawa spurted a pool of blood from his mouth before he shunshined away from Fukashi.
"MORIKAWA!!!" Yuki Shuto, who was facing Uchiha Sosuke, sensed Kaguya Morikawa's chakra weakening and immediately broke his engagement with Sosuke and shunshined next to Morikawa's side and immediately applied first aid kit from his pouch.
Fukashi, confirming the extent of Morikawa's injury, dispelled his Susanoo. Both of his eyes were blood shot and bleeding. He sensed that most of his chakra was consumed and only about 10% remained. Consecutive use of Mangekyo and Susanoo for the first time consumed his chakra more rapidly than he predicted.
Uchiha Sosuke arrived next to Fukashi and supported him. Sosuke was not in a better shape either. His left shoulder was riddled with three frozen senbons and his legs and arms were covered in layers of ice. On the other hand, Yuki Shuto was a bit pale from extensive chakra usage but was not injured at all. During their battle, Shuto successfully trapped Sosuke in his Demonic mirroring Ice crystal. Sosuke dodged most of the ice senbons and attacks to his major vital points and organs but suffered injuries all over his limbs and his left shoulder.
"Fukashi! Are you alright?"
"Yeah. I am fine Sosuke. I just exhausted too much chakra. I did not expect that Susanoo would consume my chakra so rapidly…"
"hmm? Is that Mizukage? Then… Senju and Uzu…"
Uchiha Sosuke and Fukashi started to circulate their chakra once more, as they sensed Hozuki Gengetsu arriving next to Yuki Shuto and Kaguya Morikawa.
"… Morikawa…"
"Mizukage-sama. I have disappointed you. I am sorry for being worthless."
"… Don't worry Morikawa. Our goal has been already achieved. Focus on recovering for now."
Mizukage spoke in a rather calm and soothing tone. Hozuki Gengetsu has many faces; he could be cold hearted and merciless as Mizukage, but also joke around during battle. However, there was one thing that stood out the most of Gengetsu was his love for talented young ninjas, especially those from his village. Morikawa was one of the most talented genius within Kirigakure, reaching Kage-level before adulthood and contributing a lot to Kirigakure's conquest/unification war. And most importantly, he was the key to his plan to integrate unruly Kaguya clan into Kirigakure, under Mizukage's control.
"Shuto! Return to the fleet with Morikawa. Send out the signal for retreat. We have gained enough experience and Pulled down Konoha's Senju and Uchiha reserves enough."
Shuto opened his eyes and stared at Gengetsu's enraged eyes for a moment before he blew a whistle and carried Morikawa on his back.
"Mizukage-sama, don't forget that Kiri still needs you."
"… hahaha. Don't worry. Don't worry. I will be fine."
Hozuki Gengetsu turned his back on Shuto and just waved his hand to quickly send Shuto off, as he formed ten clones next to him.
