Draven glanced at Hannah and thought,
*What the fuck am I supposed to do with her again?*
Hannah stared back at him, her face completely devoid of emotion.
Draven smiled and extended the hand holding the bow, the black glove Ivan had given him still covering it.
"Hey, you know how to use a bow, right?"
Hannah remained expressionless and nodded.
*That was a foolish question. She's a Forest Elf. Using a bow is probably natural to her.*
Draven smiled again.
"So, can you teach me how to use it?"
She nodded again.
*I'm starting to think maybe she isn't able to speak,* Draven thought.
Outwardly, he smiled and grabbed her hand.
"Come with me," he said. "Let's go somewhere else."
Draven held Hannah's hand and pulled her through the crowd of guests.
Hannah looked down at Draven's hand holding hers, her face still blank.
---
The scene changed, and they stood outside in a garden filled with trees, far from the party.
Draven looked at Hannah and held out the bow.
Hannah stared at the bow in his outstretched hand.
"Here," Draven said.
Hannah shook her head, refusing to take it.
"You don't want it? Why?" Draven asked. "I thought we agreed you were going to teach me how to use a bow."
Hannah nodded.
*What the heck? Kid, can't you just say yes or no? I'm starting to get pissed off.*
Hannah extended her hand.
A wood-like bracelet adorned her wrist, but she didn't take the bow from Draven's hand.
Magical energy began gathering around her hand.
Draven stared as the bracelet on Hannah's wrist shimmered and stretched, seamlessly transforming into a bow.
*So, you can turn the bow into a bracelet by pouring magical energy into it,* he realized.
Seeing it up close reminded him that Aunt Olivia had also been wearing a bracelet on her wrist—one that had suddenly disappeared when she gave him the bow.
Draven recalled the moment and smiled.
"You have one too. That's why you didn't want it."
Hannah nodded.
Draven looked at her and thought,
*It's not that surprising that she also has a bow made from the World Tree, since she's part of the Elven Royal Family.*
