Su Han carefully integrated the Digimon Nursery into the western wing of the Jade Chamber. Since every partner hatched here would eventually become a pillar of Teyvat's defense, he placed it in a high-security zone near the center of the floating palace.
No sooner had the building manifested than Hu Tao came skidding around the corner, her eyes wide with curiosity. "What's this? There's a giant egg inside!"
"It's a Digimon Nursery," Su Han laughed. "It can hatch one partner a month. Since you've been pestering me for one, do you want to try it?"
"Yes! Yes! A thousand times yes!" Hu Tao practically vibrated with excitement. To her, having a Digimon partner was the ultimate status symbol.
Following Su Han's guidance, she dropped a bead of blood onto the intake port. The mysterious egg inside immediately pulsed with a soft, rhythmic light, establishing a soul bond with its new master. After ten minutes of tense waiting, the shell finally cracked.
"Aww! It's a SnowBotamon!" Hu Tao scooped the tiny, white puffball into her arms, even planting a kiss on its forehead.
However, Su Han noticed something odd. While standard SnowBotamon carried a hint of holy light, this one radiated a cold, ethereal chill. It wasn't the "Holy" path; it was a "Moon" variant.
"Take her to the Moonlight Maples," Su Han suggested. "Let's see if the environment suits her."
The moment Hu Tao entered the silver-leafed forest, the little SnowBotamon let out a trill of joy, absorbing the lunar essence greedily.
"Evolution paths can change based on the environment," Su Han noted. As he watched the lively scene, Angewomon (Su Han's evolved partner) stepped forward.
"Master, this one is different from me," she observed. "She follows the path of the Moon."
As the other girls gathered around, Mona sighed with envy. "One month? I have to wait a whole month for mine? I'm a founding member!"
"You'll have to fight Klee and Qiqi for the next one," Shenhe joked, causing Mona's shoulders to slump.
[The Feudal Era – Forward Base]
While the Jade Chamber celebrated, the Feudal Era was witnessing an exodus. Kujou Sara stood atop a watchtower, overseeing the relocation of fifty thousand youkai from the Western Lands.
The migration was massive. Rather than using trains, Su Han utilized a series of large-scale Serenitea Pots to transport the population. Despite the sheer numbers, the youkai were eerily disciplined. Their Empress, Inukimi, had spoken; they moved without a word of protest.
Watching from a nearby cliff were Totosai and Myoga.
"Should we tell the Young Lord?" Myoga whispered, his legs trembling.
"I'm not going!" Totosai barked. "He chased me for decades over that sword. I'm staying out of this!"
"But the rumors say the Lady is remarrying! If Lord Sesshomaru finds out she's giving away the entire Western Lands as a dowry, he'll kill us both!"
Totosai looked at the portal. "Playing dumb is a survival skill, Myoga. The woman who ruled the West feared no one. If she's bowing to this new Sovereign, he's a monster beyond our understanding."
As Totosai turned to flee, a black feather whistled past his ear, cutting a deep groove into his face.
ZRAK!
A figure in purple-and-black armor appeared before him, sparks of Electro dancing on her wings. Kujou Sara looked down at him, her golden eyes cold.
"Identify yourself. You have thirty seconds before your head leaves your shoulders."
Totosai swallowed hard. He was looking at the 'Tengu General'—the woman who had reportedly slain a Great Youkai in a single strike. "I... I am Totosai. I'm just a blacksmith!"
"The legendary smith?" Sara's gaze sharpened. "Good. You're under arrest. Your bail is a lifetime contract with the Inazuma Armory. If you refuse, I'll kill you now."
Totosai didn't even hesitate. "I love Inazuma! I've always wanted to work there!"
[The Command Office]
Su Han arrived at the base shortly after Sara's report. Inside the office, Sara removed her gauntlets and began to massage Su Han's shoulders with practiced ease.
"The migration is eighty percent complete," she reported softly. "But Totosai mentioned that Sesshomaru is likely on his way."
Su Han leaned back, enjoying the rare moment of relaxation. "Let him come. Sesshomaru is a true genius, but he's blinded by his father's shadow. If I can break his obsession, he'll be a better general than any youkai we've seen."
Suddenly, the air outside chilled. A massive explosion of demonic power rocked the base.
"Totosai! Get out here!"
A cold, regal voice thundered across the village.
Su Han opened his eyes. "The Prince has arrived."
Outside, Sesshomaru stood amidst a whirlwind of pale energy, his eyes blood-red with fury. He looked at the Teyvat flags flying over his mother's lands, his pride wounded. To him, this wasn't just a political change—it was the erasure of everything his father had built.
"Whoever rules this place," Sesshomaru hissed, his hand resting on the hilt of his sword. "Come out and face the consequences of your arrogance."
