[The Arataki Military Camp – Inazuma]
Dust and debris kicked up in the training grounds as two silver blurs collided. Sesshomaru and Inuyasha were locked in a fierce sparring session. Though both were unarmed, the intensity of their demonic energy made the surrounding air crackle.
Inuyasha, having benefited from longer training under the Shogunate and his newly awakened Anemo Vision, delivered a Haki-infused strike straight to Sesshomaru's midsection. The elder brother skidded back, his boots carving furrows in the dirt.
"Hah! I win again, Sesshomaru!" Inuyasha crowed, a smug grin plastered on his face. "Looks like you're slipping! The old man's legacy clearly belongs to the one who can actually land a hit!"
"Hmph. Relying on a trick of the wind," Sesshomaru hissed, wiping a streak of blood from his lip. "If you think this is enough to slay Ryukotsusei, your delusions have finally outpaced your heritage."
Before the bickering could escalate, a towering shadow fell across them. A tall, imposing man with a jagged scarf and a gaze that felt like it could pierce the soul stepped into the camp. His aura was heavy—predatory, like a beast that had seen a thousand winters.
"Who are you?" Sesshomaru demanded, his hand twitching. "Are you just another soldier?"
"I am Katakuri," the man rumbled, his voice low and dangerous. "I'm here to deal with a brat named Inuyasha."
"Who are you calling a brat?!" Inuyasha's fur bristled. "In this camp, I'm in the top ten! I've beaten everyone from the samurai to my 'genius' brother here!"
Katakuri looked down at him with indifference. "Is that so? I'm from another world, much like your new masters. I'll give you a hundred free moves. If you can touch me once, I'll take back my words."
The camp went silent. A hundred moves? Even Sesshomaru frowned at the sheer arrogance.
Inuyasha didn't wait. He lunged, his Anemo-enhanced claws tearing through the air. But Katakuri simply tilted his head. Then he leaned an inch to the left. Then a fraction to the right. To the onlookers, it looked like Inuyasha was attacking a ghost.
After the hundredth strike whistled through empty air, Katakuri finally spoke. "My turn."
BAM.
A single, Haki-clad fist buried itself in Inuyasha's gut. The half-demon collapsed instantly, the air leaving his lungs in a ragged gasp.
"Your Haki is shallow. You don't even understand Observation," Katakuri said, turning his back on them. "The Sovereign gave you half a month. If you can't kill that dragon by then, Tessaiga will be awarded to someone who actually knows how to hold a blade."
[The Jade Chamber – The Mirror Network]
While the brothers were being humbled, Brûlée had completed her task. Six Mirror Gates now hummed with power across the Jade Chamber's halls.
Jean stepped through a mirror and was instantly standing in the Grand Master's office in Mondstadt. Ganyu did the same, appearing in Yuehai Pavilion. The logistical nightmare of governing three nations was solved in a single night.
"This is incredibly convenient," Jean noted, stepping back into the Jade Chamber with a stack of paperwork. "Though I'll miss the scenic flights, the efficiency is worth it."
Raiden Ei, however, had no intention of leaving. She had taken up permanent residence in the Jade Chamber, claiming the high-density energy and Xiangling's constant supply of desserts made it far superior to Tenshukaku.
[The Sovereign's Reward]
Su Han sat in his study, away from the bustle, and opened the Chat Group interface. The rewards for the 28th mission were waiting.
[Ding! Mission Bonus: 80,000 Points.]
[Reward: Tidal Sea Prism Stone Vein (Permanent).]
Item:Tidal Sea Prism Ore Vein.
Description: A permanent mineral vein that generates Sea Prism Stone rich in Tidal Energy.
Analysis: In Teyvat, this isn't just an anti-magic rock. It is a high-density Hydro-conductor. Weapons forged from this ore will naturally trigger Electro-charged, Vaporize, or Freeze reactions with triple efficiency.
Placement: Must be placed on the seabed or a coastal region. Coverage: 100 square kilometers.
Su Han's breath hitched. A permanent vein of high-tier elemental ore was worth more than a dozen Mythical Fruits. It was the backbone of a military revolution.
He immediately summoned Ningguang and Yae Miko.
"Wait... you're saying we can produce this stuff forever?" Yae Miko's eyes widened, her fox ears twitching.
"Forget weapons," Ningguang whispered, her business mind already calculating the trade routes. "If we place this near the Underwater City, we can use the Tidal Energy to power the entire regional grid. This isn't just a reward, Su Han... this is the foundation of an empire."
Su Han smiled. "Then let's pick a spot. I think the waters near Watatsumi could use a little 'economic boost,' don't you?"
