Inside the dark room, a knight was stationed before a prison. Taranis moved closer to him, deactivated Vyaghra's blessing, and before the knight could react, beheaded him with a sudden motion of his sword.
"Hehehe, you have become cruel, son," a deep voice came from the prison, stirring a forgotten emotion within Taranis. The sword in his hand trembled, his lips quivered as he slowly staggered toward the prison bars.
However, before he could identify the forgotten emotion, the sight before him suppressed it as another emotion took precedence.
Inside the prison, with his wrists bound to cold iron chains hooked to two thick metallic spheres, his upper body bare and covered in countless wounds, one of his hands missing, an eyeball hanging from its socket, and his severed ear lying on the blood-soaked ground, lay Voltrex.
The nails from all his limbs had been ripped out. His skin clung tightly to his bones, and his once beautiful silken blue hair had turned grey.
