"You finally remembered that you have a home to return to, My Lord?" A sharp voice came from the palace, sending shivers down Maximilian's spine.
Maximilian grabbed his jaw and moved it back into place as he took a nervous gulp. Being excited about finding the control room of the spaceship, he had completely forgotten that he had been away for more than a month without sending Evangeline a single update.
