A puff of pink smoke exploded. The yellow-haired boy on the spot vanished, replaced by a curvaceous, completely naked, blonde twin-tailed beauty, with key parts cleverly obscured by the smoke.

"Ouch! What was that for, Sasuke!" Naruto clutched his head, turning around with teary eyes.
Sasuke expressionlessly retracted the hilt. His cold face rarely showed a flicker of speechlessness and a trace of barely perceptible embarrassment.
Uncontrollably, the image of that similarly unclothed figure by the hot springs flashed through his mind.
"Idiot." He muttered under his breath, forcibly banishing that image from his thoughts.
Kakashi wiped the blood from his nose with the back of his hand and sat up from the ground. Looking at the livewire before him, a hint of life finally returned to his gloomy eye.
He smiled wryly, 'Perhaps...'
'Having these two around wasn't so bad after all.'
Thinking this, he stood up again, dusted himself off, and looked at Sasuke.
"Well then, let's continue."
Sasuke's talent was undeniable.
Under Kakashi's demonstration and explanation, he quickly grasped the trick to combining Shape Transformation and Nature Transformation.
In less than half a day, a stable ball of lightning had already taken form in his palm.
Meanwhile, Kakashi wasn't idle either, pulling Naruto aside to officially begin teaching him.
But Sasuke wasn't satisfied with this.

Then, he released his Zanpakuto. A faint black arc of electricity slowly seeped from the pathway in his arm, tentatively approaching the ball of blue-white lightning in his palm.

With a dull sound, the lightning in Sasuke's palm suddenly went out of control and exploded.
A not-too-powerful shockwave sent him stumbling half a step back, a numbing sensation spreading through his hand.
"Rejection?"
Sasuke frowned, looking at his slightly numb hand.
'Chakra was a combination of Physical and Spiritual Energy, while Reiatsu was pure soul energy.'
'Their natures were different. Forcibly merging them naturally caused rejection.'
"If direct fusion is impossible, then try a different approach."
Sasuke's mind raced.
He extended his right hand again. This time, he first activated the Chakra Shape Transformation, constructing a stable Chakra sphere in his palm.
Then, he carefully injected a trace of Takemikazuchi's black lightning power into the core of this Chakra sphere.
Bzzzt…!!!
The blue-white Chakra sphere was instantly tinged with an ominous blackness, beginning to tremble violently and emitting a sharper screech than before.
An extremely unstable power expanded wildly in his palm.
"Not good!"
Kakashi, from a distance, was the first to sense this dangerous aura. His expression changed drastically.
"Sasuke, throw it away now!" He shouted sharply.
But it was too late.
Sasuke simply couldn't control this out-of-control power.
Boom!
A mass of black lightning exploded violently. The terrifying shockwave sent Sasuke flying.
"Sasuke!"
Naruto and his shadow clones cried out in unison, instantly dispelling.
Kakashi's figure turned into a blur, appearing instantly at Sasuke's side, catching his slowly collapsing body.
"Cough, cough..."
Sasuke coughed out a mouthful of soot. His right hand was scorched black, throbbing with intense pain.
"What in the world were you trying to do?!"
Kakashi's voice was full of lingering fear and a trace of barely suppressed anger, "Trying to kill yourself?!"
"Annoying."
Sasuke jumped up from the ground, shaking his numb arm, "Just a minor miscalculation."
He stared fixedly at the large crater he had blasted in the distance, a near-maniacal excitement flashing in his eyes.
"The power... is not bad."
Seeing him like this, Kakashi was momentarily at a loss for words.
'What a little lunatic.'
He sighed inwardly. Just as he was about to say something more, he saw Sasuke already turning around again, walking towards the devastated clearing.
"Hey, you're still going to continue?"
Kakashi's voice carried a note of warning, "The injury on your right hand..."
"It doesn't matter."
Sasuke didn't look back, merely raising his charred right hand. A wisp of green light slowly emerged.
It was Kaido.
Although he had no talent in this area, handling superficial burns of this degree was just barely within his capabilities.
Under the astonished gazes of Naruto and Kakashi, the burns on Sasuke's right hand began to heal at a visible rate. It was slow, but effective.
"You... you even know Medical Ninjutsu!" Naruto exclaimed noisily.
Sasuke ignored his clamor, extending his now fully recovered right hand once more.
'The failure just now was because the 'quality' of the two energies was too different. The 'container' constructed by chakra simply couldn't bear Takemikazuchi's power.'
He thought to himself, analyzing the reason for the failure.
'Since the 'container' is not strong enough, then reinforce it.'
'Or perhaps, from the very beginning, I shouldn't have treated them as two different powers.'
He slowly closed his eyes, no longer deliberately distinguishing between the Chakra and Reiatsu within his body.
Chakra originated from the body and mind.
Reiatsu originated from the soul.
And all of this was the very foundation that constituted the existence known as 'Uchiha Sasuke'.

This time, he did not first gather the Raikiri, nor did he first release Takemikazuchi.
He pressed his palms together, sinking his will into the source of his power.
'Takemikazuchi is my sword. Chakra is my power...'
'They should all obey me.'
In the next instant, Sasuke's eyes snapped open!
Within those pitch-black pupils, three tomoe slowly rotated, shimmering with an unprecedented light.
"Come." He whispered.

The blue-white Lightning Release Chakra and the black lightning no longer repelled each other.
They surged from within Sasuke's body, flowing through the meridians in his arm, finally converging in his right palm.
The overall form of the technique was slightly smaller than Kakashi's Raikiri, but the energy contained within it was a whole level higher than before.
The surrounding air seemed to be torn apart by this power, emitting a piercing screech.
The sound was like a thousand birds crying out in unison.
"D-did it... work?"
Naruto, watching from a distance, was dumbfounded, unconsciously swallowing hard.
Sasuke slowly raised his head, feeling the completely new power in his palm.
Looking at the ball of lightning flashing with black and white electricity, the image of its unique cry surfaced in his mind.
"This technique..."
He murmured to himself, a curve lifting the corner of his mouth.
"...shall be called 'Chidori'." (T/N: In the original work, Chidori is the base version of Raikiri, but in this novel, it was changed into an upgraded version of Raikiri.)
