Pelion looked at Garion and gave a faint smile. "Of course not. I'm not here to block you."
He tilted his head slightly and raised one hand in a casual gesture. "I'm here to offer you a deal."
Garion frowned and took a step forward, his gaze sharp. "A deal?"
His voice dropped slightly. "What exactly are you talking about?"
He pointed directly at Pelion. "You're an enemy, and worse, you're from Black Chimera. Why would I even listen to anything you say?"
Pelion didn't react to the hostility. He just smirked, relaxed as ever.
"Just listen first," he said calmly. "It won't take long."
Garion held his stare for a moment.
There was a short pause.
Then he let out a quiet breath and crossed his arms. "…Fine."
His tone stayed firm. "Talk. But make it quick. Don't waste my time."
Pelion nodded once. "Good."
He shifted slightly on the broken stone, still sitting comfortably. "You already know that Darius has joined Black Chimera, right?"
Garion didn't hesitate. "Of course I know."
