The entire terrain, the scorched mountain, the black expanse and the forest around it would be set ablaze .
Isolde teleported to Godfrey's side and he manifested Mountain's shield. Upon activating one of its runes, a golden translucent dome shielded them from the fire rain.
Blue flames devastated their surroundings, transforming the place into a blue inferno. Though shielded, the heat could still be seared.
Unfortunately for the phoenix, the dome reflected the damage of the fireballs that struck it. The phoenix cried out in pain as this wasn't her receiving her flames but the damage, an actual injury!
However, she was free, her flames had melted the ice. "I will kill you and use your mana for my rebirth!"
Crying out with anger bordering on madness, the phoenix gathered flames at her beak, purple flames for one final deadly onslaught.
