Godfrey looked at Gabriel. So… he had exceeded the Titled God Tier, perks of being a Favoured One; they might as well be the most loved entities in any chosen world. Many of them thought this was Gabriel's summon, but Godfrey knew this was Gabriel himself, just revealing a bit of his true self.
To everyone, the man before them was an angel, but this was just one of his faces. The other ones would… cause terror.
Gabriel tilted his head after asking both sides to speak and hearing what they had to say. "Do you want to shatter this city? I doubt even if any of you win, there would be a place to call paradise any longer."
His eyes went to Godfrey. "He was grieving. He has always been a part of the Cohort, Captain Saul."
Saul stared into Gabriel's eyes. "My word remains. I'm not his former Captain, I will kill him if he joins this cohort. It's as simple as that."
