Rebecca's accident further put a strain on her parents already shattering marriage.
They were getting separated but they never quarreled or argued like this. Everyone seemed to be on edge.
"You're daughters future is at stake here but you seem to only care about running off with your model girlfriend" She heard her mom yell one night when they thought she was asleep.
"I am not ignoring her predicament, I am saying us been together right now is doing her more harm than good, she heard her father say.
"She needs us right now, please let us no do things
"All we do is fight and argue and we are not our best selves to give her the care
"No you just can't wait to run into the arms of your young secretary

"I saw the pictures in Dubai Collin
"Well we fell out of love and she was there when I was struggling to stay sane
Tears flowed down Re's cheeks as she fought to stay quiet so they don't know she was awake, her heart ached more than the pain from her injury.
"I will be sleeping at a hotel this night, when she wakes up tell her I went to work or something you like and her father had left the house.
That was the last time he was ever in the house.

Rebecca struggled to locate her class as it was the first day of classes, everything felt new to her. She would have called Phoebe to ask but they are in a non talking state right now, she just could not believe Phoebe could do that to her.
The first class was exercise physiology, and she did not want to miss it. Everyone was in such a hurry that morning and every time she tried to stop someone to ask they just brushed past her.
While trying to avoid someone on a skateboard, she accidentally crashed into someone and almost stumbled before he caught her.
"I think I have enough girls falling for me this semester" he said as he helped her to stand on her feet. "Are you ok?' he asked her after she was stable.
"Yes, thank you and don't worry, I also don't plan on falling for anyone this semester , she added
'ouch, he said faking a chest pain and they both laughed. "I'm Jeremy, and you are" ? Jeremy said putting forth his hand for a handshake
"Rebecca, she said taking his hand as they both continued laughing.
"Oh nice, you look lost, freshman I guess?
"Oh yes,
He looked at her signifying that she adds her major
"Oh, sports science actually and my first class is exercise physiology but I can't seem to find the class
"Oh, then you're in good hands, I took that course last year, sports science too, 2nd year.
"Oh wow, I really am in good hands she said staring at him, she could not help but acknowledge the fact that he really was handsome, probably the most handsome guy she has been this close to
"Please follow my lead, and they both started walking and him turning occasionally to look at her and smile shaking his head and smiled back.
The finally arrived at the lecture hall and he stopped in front of it.
"We're here, he said
"Oh thank you so much I am really grateful and she proceeded to enter the class but he stopped her briefly
"Will you like to grab lunch later with me , he said holding her hand to stop her briefly
Rebecca paused for a moment, she knew what grabbing lunch later meant, an invitation to friendship, probably something more, she looked up at him determined to reject the offer but when she looked into those eyes she could not help but say yes
"Yes"
"yes?"
"Yes, I will see you later, she added
"Ok, sorry one last thing can I get your Instagram?
"Ok, sure, she brought out her phone and the both exchanged contacts
"So, I will catch you later" he said hurrying off excitedly
Rebecca just smiled and walked into her class, the lecture already started and she snuck in quietly but the professor still caught her
"Isn't it too early to start off late he asked but she just nodded politely and apologized and he just signaled for her to sit down and she thanked him and went to her sit.

Jeremy walked into his class looking very happy for reasons unknown and all his friends teased him about it but he just brushed it off and sat down next to Julian.
Julian looked up at him and shook his head, "What has gotten my boy so happy today? hold on let me guess, a new catch?
Jeremy jokingly pushed him away and they both laughed
"Yeah I new it" Julian said.
"Yes, it is about a girl, but it's really not like that, I mean this one is special"
"Ohhhh" the other guys jarred him
"How is this one special, roomie, Julian said holding him by the shoulder
"She is just different man, there is something really different about her"
"Wow, don't tell me the player has left the team?' Julian said and all the other boys laughed
"Once a player always a player" they all chorused.
But Jeremy just shrugged them off, it is really different this time.

Rebecca sat in class till the end of the lecture, a red haired girl sat next to her and as soon as the lecture ended she turned to Rebecca
"Let me guess, you were late because you could not find the class?"
"Yes, you too? Rebecca asked
"No, my roommate showed it to me but I was certain it would be a difficult place to find on your own and I wanted to confirm that theory."
"Oh, well I am just glad I did not miss anything"
"Right, are you a Physiology major?
"No sports science actually
"Oh nice, I like you, do you want to go get lunch together
"I actually have plans, Rebecca said packing and getting up to leave, "But I will see you around"
"I did not get your name"
"Rebecca"
"I'm Eloise, so nice to meet you"
"Same here" Rebecca and hurried out because she saw a message from Jeremy saying he waws outside. She paused midway and wondered why she was in a hurry and then started walking slowly.
"Hey!, Jeremy said as soon as he saw her
"Hey, she replied
"Shall we?' he asked pointing outside and she nodded walking beside him and they both smiled
Everyone stared at them more at Jeremy and more in wonder who she is to walk beside him like that.
"Have you had a proper campus tour? Jeremy asked her
"No, I mean I was supposed to but I backed out of it
"What do you mean backed out from a tour of this glorious university?
"I don't know, I guess I was not feeling it then"
"Well are you feeling it now?" he asked her excitedly
"What I am feeling now is purely hunger"
"Oh, right, let's get you fed then we talk about the tour later, do you mind if I drive you? we could walk but it's a bit far from campus and...
"I don't mind, I am starving, I skipped breakfast"
"Ok my lady, Jeremy said leading her to his car and opening the door for her
"A Porsche? wow nice rich kid, she teased him"
"Daddy's money he whispered as he closed the door and got into the car. "Ready? he asked looking into her eyes and she just nodded and he drove off.
Rebecca really like how nice and polite he was, he asked her what her favorite song was and she said "Killing it girl by J-hope of BTS" and he turned on the music for her, to her surprise he sang along word for word and she was really impressed.
The got to the restaurant and from the aroma you could just tell at once that the food was good.
They sat down and a waiter came to get their order but Rebecca said he should order for her instead as he knew the menu better. He placed the order and it was a really nice pasta.
They talked at length over the meal and for the first time in a while Rebecca had a really nice time.

He drove her to her hostel and she thanked him for having her and for the meal
" You're welcome but let me know when you'll be down for the tour
"Ok, I will do that she said and smiled at him before turning around to enter her hostel
He watched her leave with a smile on his face and after she had gone in he drove up.
Rebecca felt so good that she was even dancing on the way to her room and humming the tone to killing it girl. She got to her room and opened the door and there was a man sitting on her bed.
"Dad!, she said in shock.
