When Revis stood back up, her skull was caved in, her nose twisted the wrong way and a fist-sized imprint left on her face.
'Tsk... that fricking hurt... where the hell is that useless son of a bitch Olivas?'
Revis thought with irritation, until her gaze landed on a figure bound in black chains, lying unconscious on the ground.
'Shit... he actually got caught...'
Her face twisted further as she spat to the side, a couple of teeth flying out and clattering against the floor.
She raised her hand, grabbed her broken nose and forced it back into place.
A sickening crunch rang out.
'I spent so long eating magic stones to build up my strength... all in preparation for my revenge.'
She thought, staring down at her open palm as faint sparks of lightning danced across it, her body still trembling from the impact.
'But what the hell was that ungodly strength?'
The question screamed inside her head as her regeneration quietly went to work.
'He was strong before... but not like this...'
Then realization flashed across her face.
"Don't tell me... you leveled up?"
Revis said, her eyes locking directly onto Judas and ignoring everyone else in the room.
To her, everyone else here were nothing more than ants. Judas was the only one worth acknowledging.
"What do you think?"
Judas replied without missing a beat, his tone completely casual.
The moment she registered his tone... that same indifferent air she used when looking down on others turned back on her... her face twisted with anger and humiliation.
Ever since this boy had appeared in her life, nothing had gone her way.
"Don't fucking underestimate me."
Thick veins bulged and pulsed across her neck and face as the words left her lips.
"Viscum! Violas!"
She screamed at the top of her lungs.
The entire pantry trembled as hordes of plant monsters burst from the ground in every direction, hissing toward them all at once.
"What the hell? There's still this many?"
Lulune exclaimed, her pupils shrinking.
Even Alise and Kaguya's expressions tightened at the sight.
The number of monsters that had appeared could easily be counted in the thousands.
No matter how seasoned an adventurer you were, facing a horde of that scale all at once was enough to shake anyone.
'This is easily ten times more than what she summoned before... so why didn't she call them out earlier?'
Kaguya analyzed the scene with a sharp gaze.
No matter where she looked, there was nothing but a sea of green.
Several Viscum loomed above the horde like living towers, their massive frames blotting out everything behind them.
Then her gaze drifted briefly to Judas.
'Ah... she must have been saving them specifically for him. It certainly seems like this Revis has a personal grudge.'
Asfi reacted quickly, turning to her members.
"Everyone, make sure that jewel stays secured with us. It's almost certainly the center of this whole incident."
Lulune held the jewel fetus in both hands, her face already pale.
"Urgh... why do I have to be the one holding this cursed thing?"
"Here, give it to me. It'll be safer with me."
Alise said, and Lulune handed it over without a moment's hesitation, her expression practically radiating relief.
'Is that a fetus inside?'
Alise thought with a frown, staring at it for a moment before wrapping it in cloth and tucking it into her bag.
"Judas Spade."
Revis spoke again, her voice surprisingly calm this time.
"I know you are strong. In my current state, there is probably nothing I can do against you directly."
"However... I wonder if you can fight while keeping everyone here alive at the same time."
'I squeezed an entire factory dry just to prepare for this day... so how will you respond to this, you bastard?'
She fixed him with an arrogant stare, as if daring him to make a move.
Judas didn't respond. In fact, he wasn't even looking at her.
"500... 1000... 1500..."
He was counting under his breath, his gaze moving steadily from left to right across the horde.
"2000... 2500... 3000... 3500..."
"6617. Exactly 6617."
Revis felt her mouth twitch.
"You really know exactly how to get on my nerves, don't you?"
"And do you honestly think that just because you know how many there are means you can stop them?"
She fixed him with a cold glare that could bore a hole through stone, raised both arms and roared.
"Violas! Viscum! Kill them all!"
At her command, the thousands of monsters surrounding them stirred and charged simultaneously.
The ground shook violently beneath their feet, the combined weight of the horde sending tremors through the floor as the sea of green surged inward from every direction.
"They're coming!"
"This is impossible!"
Members of the Hermes Familia cried out in panic, sweat pouring down their faces.
"Don't get separated or you'll get crushed!"
Falgar bellowed.
'A monster horde of over six thousand...'
Asfi's thoughts raced as her eyes swept the room.
'We've burned through nearly all of our weapons, our stamina and most of our potions getting to this point.'
'We can't break through this on our own.'
'Which means we're going to have to rely on them... especially him.'
She gritted her teeth and braced herself, her gaze settling briefly on Judas.
"Judas, what do we do?"
Even Alise, a first-class adventurer, couldn't hold her composure as she turned to look at him.
He stood at the front, completely still.
Naturally, everyone else turned to him as well, as if waiting for him to say something.
Kaguya and Asfi, who had been acting as commanders until now, were no exception.
There was no other reason for it than the fact that this situation had devolved into something far beyond any of their capabilities to handle.
Faced with their gazes... each one looking at him as if he were their only remaining hope... Judas knew he had to answer them.
"Do you guys want to watch a good show?"
That was all he said before raising his arm.
A magic circle materialized above them, rotating slowly as it drew in the surrounding magic power.
From its center, a cluster of light the size of a basketball took shape... a star polyhedron, sharp and radiant, illuminating the entire pantry in a brilliant glow.
Every eye in the room was drawn to it without exception.
"What amazing magic power!"
Lefiya breathed, her eyes wide, the shining star reflected in her gaze.
The monsters surrounding them grew agitated, accelerating their charge. But Judas didn't look at them.
He looked at Revis.
And Revis glared back.
『Star Magic: Million Lasers』
The moment the name of the spell left his lips, the magic circle above them flared.
