"Impossible. If it was a clone, I would've sensed it?"
Thud!
Jamie landed in front of her after jumping down from the rooftop.
Sandra immediately shifted into a combat stance, extending the sharp knife in her hand toward him.
"Ahm, Jamie… how am I supposed to get down from here?"
Bray called from above.
"Just jump down."
"Do you want me to die or something? I don't have magic like you."
Bray continued nervously. He did have a valid point—judging from the height of the roofs, one jump would completely disassemble his body, breaking bones apart in ways he wouldn't even recognize afterward.
Jamie sent one of his clones up. The clone lifted Bray onto its back and floated down to the ground with him.
"You look good without that weird bottle on your back."
Jamie spoke calmly, while Sandra remained perfectly still with her guard raised.
