All of Midworld was tense; every person stared at a screen, whether at a bar or in their houses. Everyone wanted to stay informed of what was happening.
It had been four years since Alexander told them about the last game for everyone. And for four years they waited for the perfect time for the final game to proceed, waiting for the armies to be ready for battle.
"As you can see, we are all waiting for the teleportation capsule to turn on."
A journalist standing on a skyscraper gave the commentary, a camera recording countless officials waiting on top of the Gridlions HQ where a helicopter pad stood.
It was the day they had been waiting for—the day Alexander had finally finished training, their lord of hope who was going to command Midworld when the battle began.

A bright line shone from the skies, shooting straight onto the ground. Its light was so bright it nearly blinded the people standing on the roof.
