The twilight sky of the Dusk City was filled with beautiful, colorful clouds. Other people might have gotten used to it, but Aegon still considered it one of the most beautiful sights he had seen in his life.
Currently, the clouds in the distance were dancing wildly as if something huge was moving underneath them. The movement grew closer and closer until the clouds finally split apart.
Down from the heavens descended a majestic creature, the ruler of the skies. A red dragon with a long, narrow neck, wide wings that unsettled the atmosphere every time they moved. Deep red scales covered its entire body like pieces of armor.
At its head, the dragon hosted two curved horns that were like a crown. However, unlike the other dragons Aegon was familiar with like Vhagar, this one was smaller and didn't assert its dominance.
It didn't need to, as its sheer presence affected the world around it.
