Boom!
A massive surge of magic erupted. The destructive energy radiating from Mirajane caused the ambient magic in the void to go wild. At this moment, Mirajane's body no longer exuded the aura of brutality; what remained was pure destruction and overwhelming power.
In her Demon God Halphas form, Mira appeared clad in a skimpy blue-striped swimsuit, overlaid with aqua-blue scale armor that barely covered her limbs. Two scaled horns sprouted from her head, with blue scales extending from them to cover the sides of her face. A pair of blue wings stretched out from her back.
Though called a Demon God, Mira now bore no demonic traits at all. She looked more like a mermaid from the deep sea. But this mermaid radiated a terrifying aura.
Ur watched with interest, appreciating the Demon God Halphas form. Each of Mirajane's Satan Souls had its own unique charm. Setting aside the destructive power, this form of Mirajane was undeniably captivating.
The only drawback: she hadn't fully matured yet, lacking her most lethal asset.
"Watch out, Ur! I'm coming!" With that, Mirajane moved like a gust of wind, instantly appearing before Ur.
Ur's pupils constricted. "So fast!"
This speed was on an entirely different level than before.
Boom!
Mirajane slammed her fist into the ground. A thunderous roar echoed as the earth tens of meters around her exploded, shattered as if a natural disaster had struck.
"Holy—!" Ur broke into a cold sweat.
He had known Mirajane's Demon God Halphas form had immense destructive power, but this… this level of devastation was terrifying.
"Good thing I dodged quickly. If that punch had hit me… I'd have flown tens of meters," he thought, shaken as Mira grew even more violent.
In the original record, Mirajane once used the Demon God Halphas' soul in a "game" with her enemies and ended up destroying an entire city.
Ur had thought Mirajane, having just acquired this form, wouldn't yet be capable of that level of power.
In a sense, he was right—she hadn't unleashed her full strength yet. Even so, the destructive force she wielded now was still terrifying.
Whoosh!
Mirajane vanished from one spot and reappeared before Ur, spinning into a whip-like kick aimed straight at him.
A surge of violent magic burst from Ur. He gathered energy into his leg, meeting Mirajane head-on.
Bang!
With his magical amplification, Ur finally managed to hold his ground.
The collision of their titanic forces sent shockwaves radiating outward, forming concentric circles that tore through the surrounding air.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
One strike failed; the two clashed again.
Fist against fist, foot against foot, their inhuman bodies collided repeatedly, each impact sounding like an explosion in the air.
Ur's Tempest Wings had formed behind him. Against a flying opponent like Mirajane, he had no choice—flight was essential to avoid a disadvantage. The power of Kuga Combat Technique began to manifest in Ur's hands.
Mirajane's close combat skills were purely instinctive, relying on demonic instincts rather than formal techniques.
Against ordinary opponents, this might work, but against Kuga Combat Technique, she was firmly suppressed. Ur had originally learned the Kuga Combat Technique to counter all kinds of beings, including humans.
Gildarts squinted at the sky.
Two streaks of light-like figures collided continuously, each clash like a fireworks display.
Ding!
Ur blocked another punch and swiftly conjured a magic circle in his free hand.
Earth Magic, Earth Spear!
A massive stone spear shot from the magic circle, barely grazing Mirajane. Ur's eyes gleamed. He quickly retreated while opening both hands. Instantly, two more rock spears fired from his magic circle toward Mirajane.
Boom!
Boom!
Mirajane's fists smashed the two spears to pieces.
The Demon God Halphas' form gave Mirajane's unmatched power and speed, but made her attacks more one-dimensional. Unlike the Satan Soul, which could release multiple spells, this form turned Mira into a reckless, brute-force combatant.
After destroying Ur's magic, Mirajane charged at him again. Ur rapidly retreated while continuously casting spells at her.
He decided to change tactics. As a mage, it wasn't ideal to rely solely on physical combat. Also, he had just realized that Mirajane's body, in demonic form, had armor, and it was likely high-level.
Though Ur could dominate Mirajane in close combat using Kuga Combat Technique, fighting an armored Mirajane up close was inefficient.
In magical battles, brains were just as important as brawn. Ur continued casting spells, guiding Mirajane toward the ground.
As he returned to the ground, he accidentally came near Gildarts. At the same time, a slightly yellowed photograph slipped from his pocket and, coincidentally, landed at Gildarts' feet.
Gildarts instinctively picked it up and glanced at it. The next moment, he froze, struck dumb, as if hit by lightning.
Meanwhile, Mirajane followed Ur closely. Perhaps she had noticed the trap, but she didn't care—confident in her Demon God Halphas form.
As she touched the ground, a massive, deep-yellow magic circle flared beneath her feet. Before she could react, Ur opened his palm toward her.
Lava Magic, Giant Lava Claw!
Boom!
A towering stone claw surged up, molten lava flowing along its surface, gripping Mirajane tightly in Ur's hand, immobilizing her completely.
