Chapter 211 - Kinji Hakari

Meanwhile, in Tochigi Prefecture.

"In the abandoned multi-level parking lot of this building…"

Even with a pure black blindfold covering his eyes, Satoru could still read the note in his hand.

This was the address he had gone back to Tengen to get.

Among the current generation of Tokyo Jujutsu High students, aside from Yuta, the strongest fighter was here.

A genius sorcerer who had been suspended and forced to leave the school for clashing with the higher-ups, Kinji Hakari.

Yet that guy was actually running an underground fight club in such a remote place, acting as the organizer who controlled the matches and outcomes from behind the scenes.

If Tengen had not told him, Satoru would not have known the brat had broken the rules of the jujutsu world to do something like this.

Though even if he had known, he probably would not have cared.

This time, Satoru came to bring him back.

Sukuna could awaken at any moment, and Kenjaku was also a major threat, so the current special grade sorcerers couldn't move freely or spread out too much.

Whether it was entering the Culling Game or clearing the cursed spirits appearing across Japan, Hakari would be a valuable asset.

In short, Tokyo Jujutsu High was short on manpower.

With his hands in his pockets, Satoru walked toward the building.

"Hey. You there, blind guy. No entry ahead!"

Two large men suddenly blocked his path, and one of them even assumed Satoru, wearing a blindfold, was actually blind.

"Are you an idiot? Have you ever seen a blind person walking with both hands in their pockets?" the other snapped, flicking him on the head.

"Hahaha. Are you two doing stand-up comedy? Move aside, I'm here to see Kinji." Satoru laughed it off and stated his purpose directly.

With his strength and status as that guy's teacher, there was no need to beat around the bush.

"Who are you? Where did you hear that name!"

The moment "Kinji" was mentioned, their expressions turned serious.

One of the rules of this underground fight club was that no information was ever leaked outside. Yet this man casually spoke their boss's name.

How could they not be cautious?

"Hm? I'm his teacher—"

"Liar! You look younger than the boss! If you don't explain yourself so I can report it, you're not getting in!"

Before Satoru could finish, the slightly sharper-looking man cut him off.

"Ah…"

Even though they were blocking him, what sounded like praise for the most handsome teacher, Satoru Gojo, made him scratch his forehead.

* * *

Inside the building.

"Huh? Isn't that Satoru Gojo? Why is he here?!"

A man with messy, fluffy hair and a delinquent look froze as he stared at the monitor.

"Looks like you're screwed, Kin-chan. He must've found out about the illegal fight club. He's here to hold you accountable."

Beside him, a girl with multiple piercings on her lower lip and chin teased him. She was Hakari's "girlfriend," Kirara Hoshi, also a third-year student at Jujutsu High.

After all, what they were doing violated one of the rules of the jujutsu world. Their relationship with the school was basically like cops and thieves.

"Gojo-sensei… probably isn't that bored, right?"

Hakari said that, but he had already stood up and started packing, ready to run. No matter why Satoru came, he had no intention of giving that monster a chance to beat him up.

"What about the fight club? Are you just abandoning it?" Kirara asked, standing as well.

This underground arena was Hakari's only source of entertainment after leaving the school, something he had put a lot of effort into.

His passion for jujutsu had already shifted here.

"What else can I do… Even if he usually covers for his students, that's only when they don't break the basic rules. What I'm doing now is already…" Hakari trailed off.

Kirara had hit the nail on the head. Aside from wanting to go against those old men in the higher-ups, he genuinely loved gambling, which was why he came here to run underground fights.

"Huh… Gojo-sensei disappeared?"

While Hakari was still thinking, Kirara suddenly pointed at the monitor where Satoru was no longer visible.

"No way…" Hakari's eye twitched as he immediately guessed where that guy had gone.

Boom!

The next moment, a loud crash rang out as the door was blasted open.

"Long time no see, Kinji, Kirara. Did you miss me?"

Floating in midair, Satoru stepped in casually, even lifting his blindfold slightly to reveal one eye as he greeted them.

"Huh? You guys were about to run away? That hurts my feelings."

Looking at the two's posture, he put on a fake hurt expression.

"For someone as busy as you, what brings you to a place like this? Don't tell me it's because your student is running an illegal fight club."

Since Satoru was already here, Hakari gave up on running.

Ignoring the usual antics, he poured himself a full glass of alcohol and was about to offer one to Satoru, but stopped halfway.

There was a reason. Satoru had an unbelievably low tolerance for alcohol. If he got drunk and caused trouble here, the whole place would be finished.

"No, no. I wouldn't bother with something like that. It's just that things at the school are getting a bit too busy lately, so I came to ask you to help out."

Satoru waved his hand and got straight to the point, then briefly explained the current situation.

"I'm not interested. Too boring," Hakari replied without hesitation, even knowing he might get beaten for it.

The life he believed in was driven by "excitement," but the higher-ups in the jujutsu world had already worn that excitement down.

"Then how about this? Push for reform in the jujutsu system and make your fight club legal. Wouldn't that be more exciting?" Satoru raised a finger, speaking in a tone like he was tempting a child.

"Huh? You're going to use the Gojo clan's influence to pressure them?"

Hakari instantly took the bait.

"No, no. Not me. You. The opportunity is in your hands," Satoru said, shaking his finger.

"Me? If I had that kind of power, I would've forced those old guys to change the rules already…"

The excitement that had just sparked in Hakari faded a little.

"Among your first-year juniors, there's someone from the Fushiguro family. Mukuro Fushiguro already has issues with the higher-ups."

Seeing his reaction, Satoru decided to be clear.

'That Fushiguro family?!'

The light in Hakari's eyes flared up again.

The Fushiguro family was not an ancient clan like the Big Three Families with centuries of history, but with the appearance of the Twin Tyrants, they had already risen to the top of the jujutsu world.

If he could gain their support, then maybe…

'I should get along well with my juniors.'

A rather creepy grin spread across Hakari's face.

'Serves you right for always trying to mess with me.'

Satoru adjusted his blindfold, a faint smile forming on his lips.
