Chapter 27 - True Power

I jerked my head to the side, barely dodging a punch that shook the air around me. Another dozen trees behind me were toppled over as wind slammed outward, but I didn't have time to focus on that, as an uppercut was headed straight for my chin.

I tilted my neck backward, letting Goku's red and golden-coated fist burst past my chin and barely miss. Then, I instantly ducked as his leg lashed out at my head, and another dozen trees were sent flying.

You know, when you think about it, I'm the good guy here, right? I might've killed all of Goku's friends, but he was the one destroying an entire forest! If they didn't already have environmental activists in this world, then they were definitely about to.

"I-" A fist pounded downward, barely missing my shoulder as I rolled to the side.

"Still-" A foot greeted me as my roll finished, but I raised my hand as I barely avoided it, then grabbed Goku's foot mid-kick and yanked his balance out from under him.

"Can't-" On any other opponent, they would've been floundering and helpless after such a move. For Goku, he simply twisted his body mid-fall, pivoting on the very foot I was holding as he did a crunch and his fist headed for the top of my head. I was forced to let go of his foot and kick off the ground, shooting backward and out of his range.

"Hit-" Goku's foot stabilized mid-air, allowing him to launch forward as he landed, and his arm cocked back. He launched forward recklessly, ignoring his own defense as he tried to pound his fist into me, but I simply launched upward, taking flight as he punched at me.

"You!" Goku finished with a grunt, looking a bit pissed off as I casually floated down, landing behind him.

"You're closer than before," I said, being completely genuine, though that only made his eye twitch with annoyance.

"Doesn't feel like it," He grunted, but his lips still twitched up into a grin, "Hah, but even if I can't even touch you, fighting something this strong is damn fun!"

He was definitely moving much faster than before with the Kaio-Ken, and his punches had enough force that I'd at least be scratched if he made contact. Despite that, I could understand why he was annoyed, because to him, it seemed like he was even further than before at making contact.

He was actually much closer, but it looked the opposite, because I had to give a genuine effort now to evade him. He was still hundreds of times weaker than me, and it wasn't like I was hastily chucking my body around to barely avoid him, but the casual, effortless dodges I had been doing before had faded.

Goku was skilled, and with the power boost, he'd definitely catch me off guard if I wasn't completely focused on dodging. Even then, as his brow creased and he narrowed his eyes at me, I was sure that he would catch me sooner or later.

"Unfortunately, I don't have time to be here all day," I smirked, reaching up to cover my mouth as I gave a mock-yawn, "So, hurry up, or I'll just leave."

Saiyans were supposed to have a lot of pride, right? I knew that Goku wasn't anywhere near the level of pride-obsessed Vegeta, but mocking him a bit should at least spark a small fire within him.

"Hah… alright, then! This might be stupid, but if I don't try it now, then when will I?" Goku smirked widely, and my eyes went wide as his body tensed again, and his muscles bulged.

Wait, was really going to-

"KAIO-KEN TIMES 3!" Goku shouted, and his power flared upward, doubling again as his red aura shot even wider. His body trembled for a second, his face twisted in focus as his muscles twitched a bit, but he got it under control.

"Hah…" He breathed out, his eyes narrowing at me as his mouth twitched into another grin, "That one was a lot harder than the first one… if I don't finish this up quick, then I really will die."

As he finished speaking, he lunged forward without giving me a chance to respond. His fist lashed out, and I yanked my head to the side, caught off guard by the sudden attack. His speed had doubled again, and while he was still far weaker and slower than me, every inch that the gap closed meant that I'd need to focus harder on dodging.

And, as that gap closed by another inch, I hissed as I twisted my body to the side, barely dodging a quick jab from him. A second later, I lunged backwards as his palm just swiped at my face, not trying to do any real damage, but just trying to make contact.

I narrowed my eyes as his movements changed, becoming sharper as the time limit of his Kaio-Ken times 3 hung over his head. He dashed at me again, throwing any sense of defense into the wind, and not even focusing on doing any damage, but simply making contact. I side-stepped a swipe at my face, only to have to yank my leg upward as his foot aimed to stomp on top of mine.

"I don't think you'll have to worry about running out of time," Goku smirked lightly at me as I hastily leaped upward, dodging another light slap of his wrist, and I got a bit annoyed. When the hell did this bastard learn to shit-talk?!

I landed, then ducked a palm-strike over my head, before somersaulting backward as the palm-strike turned into a bear-hug as Goku tried to lunge down on me. Goku might've acted dumb most of the time, but he was definitely a genius when it came to fighting - he'd been taking the battle less seriously before because he enjoyed the fight, but now that his body was becoming more and more strained by the Kaio-Ken, he was aiming only for the goal.

He didn't need to defeat me - right now, he just landed a single blow, and he knew that. The attack didn't need to defeat me, injure me, or even scratch me - it just needed to land. And, as I suspected, a determined and strategic Goku was a whole different monster than the 'having fun fighting' Goku was.

I grunted, slipping around him as he lunged forward, his hand brushing past my side but not making contact. Goku's aura flared again as he twisted around, eyes locked on me, as he lashed out with a light but quick jab.

I sidestepped the strike, the air burning against my skin as his fist cut through where my ribs had just been, barely missing. He swung outward again, his arm going wide to engulf a lot of space, but I just took a step back, feeling secure in my dodge before my eyes went wide, and his lips twitched upward.

His other hand barely came into view from behind his back, just a small part of his palm showing as he crossed it behind him, and he launched a Ki blast forward, but not at me - he wasn't aiming for me, but instead at the space I was stepping back into. I was forced to lean forward, letting it barely brush past my back, but that put me in a difficult position.

He lunged forward again, a slap coming at me from the right. I leaned back to avoid it, but as I did, Goku vanished in an afterimage. I jerked my arm up as his fist came from the side, spinning instantly as the air around me distorted from the sudden shift in direction. His fist brushed past my arm, barely missing once again, and the barrage truly started.

His body blurred forward at close range, sparks of his aura smacking into me as his body danced around me quickly, his afterimages seemingly vanishing as a fist came from the front, then the side, and then the back.

His movements were becoming quicker by the second, blurring around me as my eyes darted around, struggling to keep up, even with the gap in power. I ducked, twisted, then sidestepped, barely keeping up as fists, slaps, and feet snapped toward me, every strike missing by just a hair's breadth.

His eyes were darting around as well, and I could see his brain whirling as he kept track of every movement I made. He wasn't just watching my movements, but he was learning from them - slowly downloading my style as he got closer and closer to touching me. This bastard really was way too talented!

I didn't have time to think about that as I jerked my head left, dodging a blow at my jaw, but Goku abruptly stepped forward, his entire body nearly flush against mine as he threw any sense of fighting out the window, and was clearly just trying to make contact. I kicked off the ground, launching backwards to create space, but my eyes went wide as I did.

Goku didn't just lunge forward this time - he jumped, throwing his entire body forward with one arm outstretched. Like a sprinter trying to get through the finish line as quickly as possible, he dove directly at me, completely content with slamming into the ground in the process.

"Got you," Goku's voice was filled with no small amount of pride as I was genuinely caught off guard. As I launched backward, I didn't expect such a move, and didn't have time to dodge, use Instant Transmission, or fly back quicker as Goku's hand slapped lightly onto my stomach.

As he did, his body hit the ground as I continued backward, slamming into it roughly, though he didn't seem to care. I glanced down, impressed as Goku shakily pushed himself to his feet, his body twitching as the strain of the Kaio-Ken continued to bear down on him.

"I… got you," Goku grinned, standing there, panting hard, his Kaio-Ken aura flaring with his Super Saiyan 2 one, "Now… show me fast! I can't keep this up for much longer!"

That was pretty evident by his shaking muscles and his overall slightly shaking body, which looked like it was about to explode as veins popped on his head. I simply nodded, not intent on making him wait and risking his actual death. His death would delay a couple of my plans.

I simply raised my hand, staring down at my palm as my power level skyrocketed, and then, a golden glow shot through me. In no large or grand display of power, my skin simply became gold, and then I glanced back up at Goku.

"W-Woah," Goku grunted, taking a step as his eyes went wide and he sensed my Ki, "Damn… you're crazy strong now…"

"This is the difference between us. Even if you pushed the Kaio-Ken all the way to its limits, and combined it with your Super Saiyan, you wouldn't stand a chance," I said bluntly, and a bit harshly as my legs tensed, "Let this be a reminder to you, that you have a long way to go. And, that at any moment…"

I vanished, then reappeared inches away from Goku as my hand wrapped around his throat before he could react. Goku gasped, his eyes wide as I effortlessly lifted him into the air, and his hands shot up to tear at my grip. I didn't budge, simply staring up at him with a smirk.

I was glad to be on good terms with Goku now, but that would be detrimental to his training. I wanted my presence to loom over his head and to push him to train harder as a result. Now that he considered me at least a 'decent' guy, I needed to dissuade that notion. He didn't have to hate me, but he shouldn't needlessly trust me either.

"I can kill you," I said bluntly, squeezing his neck harder, and his Kaio-Ken flared out as he gasped for air, "I can kill you, or your friends again, or even this entire planet. You know from the Kai that I've become kinder, but don't think that means we're friends."

I jerked my arm downward, harshly slamming Goku into the ground as spit flew from his mouth. A crater burst out around his body from the force, and he let out a harsh gasp.

"I'm a ruler, and you're nothing but an ant. I'll hurt and kill whoever I want, take whatever I want, and do whatever the hell I want to," I said bluntly, towering over Goku as he winced, reaching up to grab his strained neck, "If you don't like that, then do something about it."

I finished by casually raising my foot, not giving Goku the chance to respond as I stomped downward in a blur - slamming his head into the ground below, and promptly knocking him unconscious. His golden aura vanished in a snap, and he lay there, limp.

"Now, I'll get you to a healing tank before I go get Bulma," I hummed, bending over as I casually grabbed Goku and slung his limp body over my shoulder. If Bulma saw what I did to him, she'd definitely be upset enough to yell my ear off.

I vanished a second later, reappearing inside my ship as I casually raised my hand, catching a punch aimed for my face.

"W-What?" Vegeta blinked, taking a step back as Guldo, who was standing behind me, was given a momentary reprieve from his beating.

"You know him, right?" I said casually, jutting my thumb at Goku as he hung over my shoulder, and Vegeta's eyes went wide.

"Kakarot!" He spat out, glaring at Goku as if he wasn't already unconscious, "Why is he here?!"

"He's your training partner for the next few days. Guldo, you can rest," I said simply, nodding at the frog-like man behind me, who let out a sigh of relief as he was covered in bruises, "I'll put him in a healing tank. Pull him out in an hour or so, even if he's not fully healed, and give him one of these. You can eat the other."

I casually flicked my finger, flinging a pair of Senzu Beans at Vegeta, who caught them with a light scowl, "You're making me train with that low-class? He just got lucky when he beat me! I'm the Prince of all Saiyans, I won't be lowered down to training with some-"

"He's a Super Saiyan, remember? You saw him transform," I said bluntly, smirking as Vegeta stiffened at my words, "Actually, he's beyond a normal Super Saiyan. He'll kick your ass easily now."

Vegeta had definitely grown stronger, but it was hard to make huge leaps in power level without transformations. He hadn't crossed the line into transforming into a Super Saiyan, and as a result, he was sorely behind Goku, even if they probably weren't too far off base-wise - though, Goku was definitely still ahead after all the Zenkai Boosts.

"Damn it," Vegeta just grunted, turning away to sulk as I headed for the door, but then he muttered something else as he stared at the Senzu Bean in his hand, "Do you just carry these around with you?"

"Nope. I just grabbed a couple from the storage while we were talking," I shot back easily, pressing the button on the wall, which caused the door to slide open.

We had a rather large supply of Senzu Beans now, which was good, but I didn't let Vegeta or Nappa have free access to them. I was all for abusing Zenkai Boosts to power up Goku, but that was in a more controlled environment - as in, the androids could only kick his ass until he was stronger than them. He wouldn't suddenly have a power level in the trillions where his opponents were in the hundreds of millions.

By comparison, Vegeta was a lot more wild and uncontrolled. He still consistently challenged me whenever he broke through a wall and became a lot stronger, and if I left him to train until he dropped with an unlimited supply of Senzu Beans, he might really Zenkai Boost himself to the moon by training to near-death.

"W-What? You didn't even move," Vegeta muttered again.

"To your eyes I didn't move," I chuckled, walking through the door as Vegeta let out a grunt of annoyance, "Keep training, princeling, or you'll never stand a chance against even Kakarot, much less me."

I left Vegeta to sulk as I quickly headed to the 'medical bay' in my ship, which was really just a room full of healing tanks, and then quickly chucked Goku into one of them. I wasn't going to be on Earth for a long time, but for what I had in mind, it would still take a couple of days, possibly even a week. I closed the pod over Goku, and as it filled with water, I disappeared into thin air.

The scene in front of me changed, switching from Goku's unconscious and injured form to a much more pleasant sight for the eyes, as I used Instant Transmission to reach Bulma.

"A-Ah! G-Give some warning when you're about to do that, damn it!" Bulma yelped as I appeared suddenly, instinctively lashing out as she slapped my face, though I didn't even feel it.

"Haven't learned telepathy yet, so I can't," I just grinned back lightly, though I really should learn that skill.

So many people in this world used it casually, and without much reason or explanation, as it was pretty much a 'strategize in secret so the bad guy doesn't hear' or 'talk quickly so we're not shouting across half the planet' ass-pull. It probably had something to do with transmitting Ki across a gap to communicate, and I'd see about learning it from someone before I left Earth, or trying to figure it out on my own.

"W-What the heck?! He really is here!" I glanced to the side to see a terrified Roshi, who was pressing his back into the wall as he stared at me with wide eyes. Well, I guess I had a bit of an impact on him during my first trip here, huh?

"This is him?! Get him!" My hand snapped up, casually blurring through the air to my side as a flurry of small, round projectiles soared at me, and the pops of a gun rang out through Kame House.

"So close," I said dryly, in an almost mocking way as I casually dropped the dozens of bullets in my palm on the ground, and smirked lightly at Launch - who had blonde hair at the moment, and was glaring at me with a gun pointed at my face.

As my eyes scanned over her lightly, I was once again reminded that the screen really wasn't doing the women of this world justice. Bulma had been surprisingly thick in all the right places, but Launch wasn't too far off - as she was wearing a tight pink top, which had straps to hold it on her bare shoulders, and which showed off her stomach entirely.

It was definitely too small for her, as it clung to her huge breasts tightly, showing their outline like two perky mountains that surpassed even Bulma's in size. Beyond that, she was also wearing a tight pair of cargo shorts, which, despite the rather thick material, still managed to show off her thick thighs, and her rear wasn't as wide as Bulma's, but it was definitely thick, as I could see it even from the front. To be fair, I doubted I'd ever meet anyone in this world as thick as the blue-haired bombshell.

"You ready to go?" I hummed, glancing away from Launch as she huffed at the sight of her bullets being dropped to the ground, and glanced at Bulma. However, before she could respond, I was assaulted by the third woman in the room.

"So, you're the one, huh?!" A leg lashed out, slamming into the side of my head sharply as I didn't even feel the need to dodge, "You're the one who's been hurting my Goku!"

I was proven right a second later as Chi-Chi yanked back her leg, reaching up to hold it gingerly as she nearly broke her foot.

"D-Damn! What the hell are you made of?!" Chi-Chi huffed, wincing again as I scanned over her form.

Once again, the screen really didn't do Chi-Chi justice. I was a bit taken aback as she looked far more beautiful than I remembered, with a pretty and slim face and silky black hair. Her long purple dress flowed tightly around her body, enunciating her large breasts, her muscular thighs, and her wide hips. She was no Bulma, but she was definitely on the thicker side, even as her waist was thin.

Seriously, Goku got to be a fighting prodigy, have access to bullshit Super Saiyan powerups, and marry the baddie? This bastard was seriously lucky!

"It's a bio suit," I bluntly answered the rhetorical question, ignoring her attempt to kick my head off as I turned to Bulma, "I'm flattered you've all heard of me, only good things I hope, but I'm really only here for Bulma."

"I'll catch up with you guys more later! Where's Goku?" Bulma asked as she stepped forward, reaching out to place a hand on my arm, "Did you guys finish already?"

The 'already' was because, despite the fight with Goku feeling pretty long, it was actually only a few minutes at most. When you moved that quickly, the words spoken between bouts of fighting took up more time than the fighting itself.

"In a healing pod," I shrugged, causing her to sigh.

"You were supposed to go easy on him! Stop beating up my friends!"

"W-What did you do to Goku?!" Chi-Chi hissed at me, glaring even as she was still nursing her bruised foot.

"He's fine. He was just getting some… hands-on training," I chuckled, "He'll probably be busy for a couple of days, but he'll go meet you after that."

Knowing Goku, I was sure that he'd completely throw himself into fighting Vegeta and Nappa again, and would completely forget that he should assure his wife, who was Gohan-less right now, that he was fine. He wasn't exactly 'Husband of the Year' material.

"W-Wait! Don't just say that and leave!" Chi-Chi shouted as I wrapped my hand around Bulma's waist, causing her to blush lightly as I was about to teleport us away.

"I'll stop him!" I heard a shout as we started to vanish, and the slightest bit of flesh touched my face before me and Bulma vanished.

And, along with me and Bulma, apparently also Launch - as when we reappeared, her fist was pushing into my head, which didn't budge in the slightest.

"W-What?!" The woman muttered, stumbling as she almost fell over, and her surroundings changed in an instant.

Instead of being inside Kame House, we were now outside, standing in front of a towering, spacious building.

"Why'd you do that?" I asked Launch dryly, who turned back to me with a glare, getting over her teleportation pretty quickly.

"You're the bad guy!" She said bluntly, her eyes filled with fire, "And, you keep kidnapping Bulma! I'm gonna kick your as-ACHOO!"

I watched blandly as, mid-threat, Launch's nose wrinkled, and she abruptly sneezed. As she did, her hair color magically flickered, changing from blonde to blue, and her threatening expression vanished.

"Huh? What was I doing…" Launch blinked, her eyes slowly crawling up my body, and then landing on my face as they went wide, "W-Wait, you're the-! You're-! You're the bad guy! The scary bad guy from space!"

"That's me," I hummed, reaching out and patting the much more subdued woman on her shoulder, "And now that you followed me, you're my accomplice. We're about to commit a shit-ton of crimes."

"Huh? What do you mean by crimes?" Bulma butted in, glancing forward as her eyes widened, and she recognized the huge white tower-palace in front of us, "Wait, this is King Castle!"

"It is," I nodded, as we were now standing in front of the abode of Earth's 'King Furry' - the technical king of the world, even if he didn't seem to do much. In a world full of planet-destroying martial artists, who would've thought that the cute talking dog would become king?

"I missed Earth when we were away, and I think it needs some changes," I hummed, staring up at the towering structure as a smirk slipped onto my face, "We can start with the name."

"T-The name?" Bulma stuttered, looking at me strangely as my smirk widened into a large grin.

"I think Planet Frieza #2 sounds good, don't you?"
