Obi set the half-turned mechanism down, wiped both hands on the cloth at his belt, and stood, already looking at the parcel against Kori's hip with a lot of interest, as if he'd been waiting for it for a long time.
"That from — you know." He didn't finish the sentence either, just tipped his head in the direction that Kori had come from. "Come on, not out here. Bring it inside!"
He led her a few doors down the quiet street, and stopped in front of a building that made Kori recalculate everything she'd assumed about this man, Obi.
