"I am sorry about your wings and hair. You don't deserve that," Saiph sadly says to Alnilam.
A hefty sigh leaves Alnilam. "She tried to take away my identity as Fae but she can't. And I will never forgive her for that." His gaze flickers to me. "My hair, Amaia, restored them."
Alnilam proudly tells his brother. A joint fervour of approval I sense from my mates. That love they hold for me creeps into my bones. It's such an indescribable feeling.
"You are one of a kind," Rigel murmurs, kissing my hair and I hug him tighter.
"Do you remember anything from our childhood? Anything which made you question your family lineage?" Alnilam curiously Saiph. All of us want to know what Saiph remembers.
Alnilam and Saiph have always been close, holding mutual respect. Being older among their respective siblings, I can understand how they understand each other on a deeper level.
