Chapter 348 - MTT Chapter 348 : Departure

Temari couldn't understand a word this guy was saying and shouted angrily, "Let me go!"

Kicking and punching were completely useless. How could this be? This person's body was so sturdy that it even hurt her arms a little.

Ryōsuke felt a bit helpless; here was another restless one.

He activated the Blocking Technique Absorption, directly draining Temari's chakra and causing her to collapse weakly.

At this moment, other Sand Village shinobi appeared.

Seeing the immobilized Fourth Kazekage and the white-masked man holding Temari, their expressions changed drastically.

"Fire a flare and call for backup!"

"This guy actually dared to attack the Fourth Kazekage! We absolutely cannot let him escape."

Immediately, someone fired a flare into the sky, illuminating the entire heavens.

The other shinobi in the village all wore grim expressions.

Someone actually fired a distress signal within the village. Had someone invaded?

They hurriedly rushed over.

Several shinobi arrived at the Kazekage's side, intending to dispel the genjutsu on him.

Coating their hands in chakra, they struck him forcefully. The chakra within the Kazekage's body was disrupted, instantly restoring his mobility. His face lit up with joy.

By now, more and more Sand Village shinobi had arrived, numbering well into the hundreds.

Rasa glared at the white-masked man before him. "Let Gaara go. Otherwise, you won't be able to escape."

Ryōsuke, however, retorted, "Escape? Who said I was going to escape?"

He used an attractive force to pull the still-dazed Gaara straight from the ground into his hand.

With this, he had acquired yet another Tailed Beast. All the Tailed Beasts were now in his hands. Next, it was time to let these people taste his true power.

"Fourth Kazekage, submit or perish?"

The Fourth Kazekage's eyes widened, his heart filled with immense fury. "You arrogant fool, you think you alone can make me submit?"

This guy was simply too arrogant. Perhaps the opponent was incredibly strong and could easily defeat him, but where did he think he was?

This was the main stronghold of the Sand Village, with ten thousand shinobi backing him.

It was an absolute joke.

The other Sand Village shinobi similarly displayed expressions of anger.

They had never imagined any madman would dare demand their submission.

Even when they lost the war against the Leaf Village, they had only surrendered, not submitted.

Making them submit was impossible.

Not to mention, this masked man was currently alone.

One person trying to defeat so many of them was simply a pipe dream.

Rasa took the initiative to attack, his hands forming signs as golden sand erupted directly from the ground, surging toward Ryōsuke.

Seeing Rasa make his move, the other shinobi also drew their kunai and hurled them directly at the man in the center.

Kunai flying from all directions were enough to pierce this person full of holes.

However, they didn't dare use explosive tags directly, as the blast would be too powerful and could harm Gaara and Temari.

Facing such an assault, Ryōsuke didn't panic in the slightest.

He directly activated Almighty Push.

A terrifying repulsive force instantly shocked the entire battlefield.

Countless shuriken were sent flying back, striking many of the shinobi and causing them to let out agonizing wails.

The other shinobi were also blasted away by the powerful repulsive force, crashing heavily into the surrounding buildings.

Even Rasa, despite using his Gold Dust, was similarly blown away.

The repulsive force didn't stop; it continued to expand, destroying numerous buildings and forming a massive sphere of destruction at the scene.

The vast majority of the shinobi were buried beneath the rubble of the buildings.

The area instantly became a scene of utter devastation.

Not a single person could block this move, not even the Fourth Kazekage.

Rasa also collapsed to the ground, coughing up fresh blood.

Ryōsuke looked at the group of people.

He had actually gone easy on them.

This was merely Almighty Push, not Massive Almighty Push.

In truth, the power released was just a bit smaller than that of the Massive Almighty Push.

Looking at the people around him, he spoke. "Fourth Kazekage, think it over carefully before giving me your decision. The next time we meet, I won't be so gentle."

Saying this, he took to the sky, carrying Temari and Gaara with him.

The Kazekage's face was ashen as he spat blood; he had absolutely no strength left to pursue this guy.

Moreover, what did that guy's last sentence mean?

*'Had he actually held back?'*

*'Damn it,'* he thought, a sense of despair creeping into his heart.

*'This was just a casual strike from him. Perhaps he really could destroy the village in a single blow. If that's the case, a casual strike is stronger than a Tailed Beast. I can't stop him... I simply can't stop him.'*

He felt increasingly helpless. Shukaku had been taken by him, and even his daughter had suffered the same fate.

He felt he should be thankful the opponent had left; otherwise, the Sand Village would have likely faced a massive catastrophe today.

*'With someone like this appearing in the shinobi world, there will be no peace.'*

He sighed deeply.

For now, he had to clean up the mess.

He didn't know how many casualties there were.

He needed to rescue them first.

Otherwise, if the Daimyō learned that the Sand Village's strength had decreased again, he would probably want to cut their funding once more.

He hurriedly called upon the arriving backup shinobi to start clearing the rubble.

Meanwhile, after flying an incredibly long distance with Temari and Gaara, Ryōsuke landed in the vast, empty desert.

Seeing Gaara still shedding endless tears, he spoke slowly. "Alright, stop crying. Don't you already know the truth? Your uncle didn't abandon you; he was forced to do it."

What he needed wasn't a broken Gaara.

Gaara looked at the person before him, his gaze still vacant.

"Even though I didn't kill my uncle, he still died because of me. Even my mother died from complications while giving birth to me. There's no point in someone like me staying alive."

Hearing Gaara's words, Ryōsuke felt a bit of sympathy.

It was easy for a child to fall into despair, after all, especially after suffering such a massive blow.

He could only try to reason with him. "Your uncle would want you to live well. And your mother has always been protecting you. Remember that sand that automatically defends you? That isn't the power of the Tailed Beast; it's your mother's power."
