Chapter 248: Demons All Out Attacks 2
In a place near where the massive Demon Alliance army had begun to attack the White Star Radiance Alliance, a huge army of demonic beasts recklessly charged forward. Strangely enough for some of them they were much more coordinated than they normally would have been. The Demon alliance marching in this area were completely surprised by the Beasts Tide that suddenly came their way.
"Ugh! This region really has become ridiculously complicated. Aren't those the demonic beasts from the forbidden zone?" A demonic cultivator growled in annoyance.
"It really is strange timing but not unexpected either. Looks like our losses might be far greater than originally projected when the call was placed to crush the White Star Radiance." Another demonic cultivator calmly looked forward with a slightly bitter smile as he continued speaking. "On top of that I am sure that the bases and troops left behind are likely preparing to suffer devastating attacks."
"No use whining about it! Since our side is stuck here we might as well do what we can! KIIIILLLL!!!" A large statured demon roared with killing intent as he and many others mounted their offenses whether against the massive tide of demonic beasts or the numerous allied experts fighting alongside the White Star Radiance sect.
Three Peak Golden Lord and four Mortal Lord demonic beasts under Orochicanda all had bloodthirsty grins on their faces as they moved in their humanoid forms preparing to blindside the Mortal Lords from the demonic alliance who were watching out for the powerhouses among the demonic beasts.
"Hawhawhaw! I initially thought this style of battle from the boss was annoying and cheap but it truly is eye opening also! And it's not like those people are easy to break so it should be fine to ambush before going all out!" One of the demonic beasts said with a guttural laugh.
"I'm tellin ya za big boss issa genius! Ahhh I'm losin patience and wanna strike now! But boss said learn to move wit more intention…" Another beast spoke with a lisp as killing intent leaked from his body.
"Speaking of, where is boss right now, ahhh, Raptalia?" Another asked while raising his brows toward her.
"Hehehe… Where else but within his domain in the skies. Can't you sense it? A giant storm of attacks is about to rain down from within the murky clouds. That's when we begin the ambush!!" Raptalia said with an ecstatic smile tinged with bloodlust.
"Ahhh Boss really is this kinda guy. Up until now for any of his enemies including us before losing to him, he is truly a disaster for an opponent to face." The demonic beast shook his head. "Hehehe even the two newcomers became just as much of a zealot for that guy as some of you."

Flying within the skies in a quieter location of the war a nervous humanoid demonic beast with a short stature and messy brown hair sat atop a demonic beast that resembled a wyvern with silky skin and strange patterns. The humanoid gave off the aura of a powerful Early Stage Mortal Lord while the wyvern's aura was that of a Peak Golden Lord, giving off a feeling of a False Mortal Lord.
"...Are you ready Hanandra?" The messy haired demonic beast asked with a slightly quivering voice.
"Yes of course Meeshura. With our abilities combined we should be able to do this without issue." The wyvern, Hanandra, spoke with confidence.
"Yes… King Orochi said that 'a massive figure of a man shrouded in mystic wielding a giant blue starry sword covered in a smoldering white flame' is synonymous with disaster for enemies and protection for allies. Or something like that. I've never heard of such a thing, but the way he was talking about it made me feel as if I was truly talking to a fellow comrade in a certain sense…" Meeshura said with wonder filling his expression.
"King Orochi? One of us??! Hahaha not that excessively brave guy! Probably…" Hanandra laughed before a hint of doubt crept across his face.
"Well then let's get started."

At one of the three entrances of the White Star Radiance a tall figure stood with a powerful gait. He wore a black cape and gray, red, and black armor covering his entire body. A large greatsword rested on his back. He had sharp orange eyes and light purple skin. His gaze was dangerous yet his expression remained calm. He was undoubtedly a powerful demon.
Behind him stretched a long trail of blood and destruction with many dead or unconscious individuals scattered across the ruined ground. Several cracks had formed in the great barrier made by the nine great trees created by Shayleaf which protected the sect within.
The demon's eyes narrowed as he balled his fist. A surge of ki erupted from his hand as he suddenly struck forward with immense force. His punch smashed into the barrier causing a violent eruption that shook the lands as large cracks rapidly spread.
Just as he prepared another strike many experts appeared from within the sect as a furious voice roared. "Stay your hand you damned demon! You actually dare?!"
Jonovan, Bolland, and Jewleaf appeared with grim expressions. They sensed the aura of a Late Stage Mortal Lord from the demon before them.
"Hand over Daoist Blue Heavens Sword and I will let you all live." The demon spoke plainly while making his demand.
"Haaah? You want my excellent son-in-law? Dream on demon." Jewleaf sneered as sweat rolled down his brow beneath the demon's overwhelming pressure.
"Demon, this place is under the protection of my Bright Brilliant Blade sect. It is unwise to tread these lands." An Early Stage Mortal Lord elder of the sect stepped forward grimly, already prepared to strike from behind the barrier.
"This place is also protected by the Aka Boshi no Tengan clan as well as my Six Colored Martial Dynasty's Verdant Jade Pavilion. You should tread lightly." Jonovan declared as his sword glowed with an emerald green light.
The demon paused for a moment when he heard the words Six Colored Martial Dynasty before a serious expression crossed his face. "The Verdant Jade Pavilion would not care much about what happens here as long as I leave you alive and intact. I will say this one last time. Hand over Daoist Blue Heavens Sword."
His aura surged again and violent tremors shook the land. Without hesitation everyone unleashed a barrage of ranged attacks. The demon thrust forward with overwhelming force, smashing into the barrage while being pushed backward several steps. Cracks once again spread across the barrier.
"You foul demon!! Get away from here!!!" Shayleaf's voice echoed as she appeared with her three familiars and three retainers.
Relief flashed across many faces before tension returned once more. The demon instantly moved like a streak of darkness as he prepared another attack.
"Hold him off!" The fanged elf royal commanded as countless experts rushed in from every direction.
Shayleaf used her magic to synchronize with the barrier to strengthen and repair it at a greatly accelerated rate. Thus the standoff began.

Christina's face was pale as she'd just received Christian's voice transmission only to hear the great commotion happening outside one of the sect's entrances. The barrier distorted greatly as cracks would continuously be repaired and mended in a cycle. Christy appeared beside her with a grim expression as she was deep in her thoughts.
"Mama, There are definitely more of them coming… I have to prepare to overdraft the power of my Kokon Tengan if things get dire." Christy said with a bitter yet determined smile.
"Christy please don't get ahead of yourself! Who knows what the repercussions will be since you just recovered!" Christina frantically replied with a pained expression.
Christy shook her head with a smile as she continued. "Mama, if things get bad please use this and head to the 4th floor temple to forcibly wake up Gege."
Christy handed over a shiny blue medallion with the image of a blue sword etched on it. A symbiotic balance of white lightning ki and white fire magic coursed through it with a sleeping sliver of Celestial Sense hidden within it. Christina was slightly surprised when she touched it.
"Alright Mama, I'm off now to help everyone fight for the sect." Christy said and then focused her gaze towards the child that appeared nearby. "Erri, if things get bad, awaken big brother Zoro and we will just have to deal with the consequences."
Erica, whose clone no longer looked like a 5 year old but now appeared to be a 9 year old nodded with. "I understand Chrissy. But only if we are forced to resort to it."
With sighs everyone set off.
