Chapter 279 - Chapter 266: Training with the Chaos Method

Chapter 266: Training with the Chaos Method

Elton was currently seated on the ground with his legs crossed. He wore an irritated expression filled with strain as his body faintly glowed with circulating energy. The area around him was still under the effects of the Blue Entity's Chaos Convergence ability, which it had already recreated four times. Even the entity itself wore a somewhat tired expression from repeatedly using the skill.

"Continue letting the power flow through you. Relax yourself a bit, boy. That's it. Let your Celestial Sense explore that domain of power while also observing the pathways of my energy. Your core is the center of this method, where the White Star Source resides within your dantian." Master Bluesonics spoke calmly, his body faintly glowing with power.

Elton followed the instructions as beads of sweat poured down his face. He gnashed his teeth while carefully channeling his energy, attempting to mimic his master's flow as closely as possible. Learning this method felt incredibly taxing and frustratingly difficult to grasp. Part of it was because he lacked the innate talent to cultivate it naturally. Another part felt like the world itself was rejecting him for attempting to learn it.

Time flowed on as power cycled continuously through Elton's body. Due to the warped perception caused by the repeated use of Chaos Convergence, he had no sense of how much time had passed.

Eventually, the training session came to an end with Elton utterly exhausted. His energy was drained as sweat rolled down his body. He let out a long sigh, a bitter expression crossing his face.

"Master, this Chaos Method is far too difficult to grasp. I feel like I haven't truly understood anything at all." Elton said with frustration.

"Hahaha. Of course it is." Master Bluesonics laughed. "Even races like the Mobions or the Blue Omnixaijns, who possess far greater affinity for this power than most others, struggle with it."

"Eh? Blue Omnixai what? And Mobions like the Treasure Guardian spirit from the Mobion Cougar clan?" Elton asked, curiosity flashing in his eyes.

"Ah, it's nothing. Nothing you need to concern yourself with in this world." Master Bluesonics waved it off with a faint smile that carried a trace of longing.

Elton studied him briefly but chose not to press the matter. Still, there was something else he could not hold back.

"Master, what exactly is your goal that requires me?" Elton asked, fixing him with a steady gaze that created a grave atmosphere.

Silence lingered as Master Bluesonics looked back at him. His usual laid back smile vanished, replaced by a sharp and serious expression. The pressure from his aura intensified, making him seem like an entirely different person. Elton felt a faint tremble run through him, but he clenched his teeth and refused to look away.

Then Master Bluesonics chuckled softly, his demeanor returning to normal. "Hahaha. Truly an excellent disciple. Your current self is qualified to know a little of my ambitions. First, I do not have much time left in this place before I am forced to depart. This is something my previous disciples are aware of, to varying degrees. Second, after spending so long in this world, I wish to exact revenge on certain individuals who took part in the destruction of the Blue Star Sect. Third, I wish to leave behind a legacy here for the future."

After finishing, Master Bluesonics clapped his hands once. Elton startled slightly before the man laughed again. "Heheh. Once you reach a much higher level of strength, and if I am still around, I will tell you more. For now, however, it is the perfect time to resume arduous physical training with your magically enhanced weights set to maximum. Training is mandatory, no matter the place or time."

Elton felt a wave of mental exhaustion wash over him and could only smile bitterly. "Yes, Master. Understood."

…

Along Brawlmanica's borders, a skirmish was unfolding. One side surged forward with fierce momentum mixed with an unsettling pressure, while the other fought with visible fear and reluctance. High above, a white cloud of flames drifted through the skies like a living entity, traces of lightning swimming within it.

A commander from the opposing side trembled slightly as he spoke nervously. "M-Madame White Corrosive Flame Empress, your name has been resounding far and wide these days. We are both from the same country, so there is no need to use such terrible methods from the start, right? There isn't even a Mortal Lord on our side…"

"…Lady Erica, that general is right. I understand dealing with the previous obstacles when heading to this place, but this…" Ingraham Soloman muttered quietly nearby, ensuring only a few could hear him.

"Hmph. You bastards went out of your way to attack first even after seeing that we were from the White Star Radiance Sect, and now you're asking for leniency?" Erica spoke coldly as she flashed a shining document. "I will forgive you this time, but it's best that you step out of our way. We've received clearance from Prince Hunter, so there should be no issue."

She was currently wearing her white mask adorned with gold stars, naturally concealing her identity. Seeing the Soloman clan experts who had stepped out of Brawlmanica over a week ago now appear alongside the White Corrosive Flame Empress gave the commander and his aides a vague idea of who she truly was. Thinking too deeply about it only filled them with fear.

"L-Let us take a step back. We will allow you to pass after a brief inspection of your subordinates, excluding those from the Soloman clan." The commander hesitated before adding, "Eh? And the Aka Boshi no Tengan clan as well."

Erica nodded in agreement. "Fine. Everyone, let's move."

The White Star Radiance disciples, with the Soloman Division at the forefront led by Erica and accompanied by Soloman clan experts, soon crossed into Brawlmanica's territory.

…

Days prior to Erica's arrival, Seralily had already crossed Brawlmanica's borders with part of the Lion's Spearhearts Division. They had taken a different route that led them straight toward the León clan, which had significantly risen in power and influence due to their status as Counts. A portion of their forces, led by Carlos León Jr, remained in the Pocket Dimension alongside Ramiro and others at the White Star Radiance Alliance's warfront base.

When Seralily and her group finally reached their destination, many of them wore expressions of pity, sadness, and anger at Brawlmanica's current state. After all, many among them were citizens of this very country.

Ricardo León swiftly came out to greet them, though disappointment flickered across his face when he noticed none of his siblings were present. He could only sigh.

"I'm glad to see you're in good health, Sir Ricardo, my dashing brother-in-law." Seralily said with a sweet smile.

"Long time no see, Sister Seralily. I take it the journey wasn't too difficult?" Ricardo asked.

"Not too difficult, but the state of things here seems on the brink of returning to how they were nearly five years ago." Seralily replied, shaking her head.

"Yeah… It was to be expected, given the circumstances." Ricardo sighed before gesturing to the others. "You can all relax for now. Sister Seralily, a few of your trusted companions can come with me. There are matters we need to discuss."

"Alright, then we will do that." Seralily replied with a smile as she gave instructions to her subordinates before leaving with Ricardo.
