Grodd's roar cut through the rain. "Pathetic tricks won't save you!" His psychic energy lashed outward like invisible fire, slamming against Ryotaro's mind.
The Rider staggered a step, Kabuto Zecter buzzing wildly. Grodd pressed harder, veins bulging on his temple. "Submit. Kneel before Grodd!"
Ryotaro grit his teeth, armor sparking under the assault. Then, with a sudden surge, he snapped his head upward.
"Sorry. My will… is stronger."
He vanished in Clock Up, reappearing right before Grodd's massive chest. The Kabuto Kunai Gun hummed as it shifted into Axe Mode.
"RIDER CUTTING!"
The blade carved across Grodd's torso, sparks exploding as the psychic gorilla roared in fury. The giant staggered back, blood spraying from the wound.
"GRRAHHHH!"
"Grodd!" Deathstroke barked, stepping in. He slammed the Gaia Driver Rex onto his waist and inserted the Energy Memory and Reactor Memory. Its crystalline core glowing violently. In an instant, his body warped, armored in reactor plates of molten red and green energy. His form expanded with terrifying power.
"Energy × Reactor Fusion Dopant," he declared, his voice metallic and guttural. "Your grave is here, Rider."
The ground trembled as Deathstroke unleashed his power, Reactor flames scorching the rain into steam. He hurled a blazing fist toward Ryotaro.
Kabuto crossed his Kunaigun to block, but the sheer force launched him back through a wall, debris collapsing around him.
Ryotaro stood from the rubble, brushing dust from his armor. "I don't know you guys had that let me take it away from you guys."
Deathstroke strode forward, Reactor energy burning like a miniature sun. "Try your best. After all this city will be your tomb."
Grodd rose again, blood soaking his fur, psychic energy boiling in the air. "Together… Rider dies."
Ryotaro exhaled. "Then I'll stop holding back."
He raised his hand. A brilliant light streaked down through the storm—another Zecter flying into his palm. Sleeker, larger, red color device unfolding with power. Hyper Zecter.
"Hyper Cast Off."
-Hyper Cast Off!
-Change Hyper Beetle!
The Kabuto armor exploded outward, transforming, reshaping. Crimson turned to radiant scarlet trimmed with gold, the horn extending, energy pulsing like the heart of a star. Lightning coursed across the battlefield.
Deathstroke's eye narrowed. "So… this is your trump card."
Ryotaro's visor gleamed. "Let's finish this."
Ryotaro disappeared from sight. Deathstroke swung a burning fist, but Kabuto was already behind him, slamming a kick into his spine. Reactor flames burst outward as Slade crashed into the pavement, gouging a crater.
Grodd struck with psychic claws, invisible blades of force ripping the street apart. Kabuto weaved through them, reappearing above the gorilla's head.
His boot crashed down onto Grodd's skull, slamming the beast to the ground so hard the shockwave shattered windows for blocks.
The gorilla army roared, charging in a desperate frenzy. Kabuto blurred through them, strikes too fast to follow. One by one, they fell like dominoes, bodies scattered across the ruined streets.
Deathstroke rose again, Reactor flames raging hotter. "Impressive. But let's see you stop this!"
He charged his core—Energy Reactor Combustion—a cataclysmic explosion building in his chest. The ground itself cracked from the pressure, molten light swelling.
Barry weakly cried out, "Rider, he's...he is going to destroy the city!"
Ryotaro's visor tilted. Time itself seemed to still.
"I won't let him. Hyper Clock Up"
Kabuto's armor burst open, morphing, wings of silver and crimson flaring. His horn elongated, glowing brighter than lightning.
Kabuto launched forward, traveling not just through space, but through time itself. In a flash, he arrived at the exact instant Deathstroke's energy peaked. Kabuto then slamming down the Hyper zecter's horn.
-Maximum Rider Power! 1....2..3!
"Hyper Kick!"
-Rider Kick!
His crimson boot, charged with lightning force, flew towards the Deathstroke and drove into Deathstroke's chest.
The impact detonated like a supernova. Reactor flames imploded, swallowing themselves, before erupting in a colossal shockwave that vaporized everything in its path.
Deathstroke screamed as the armor shattered, his Dopant fusion breaking apart. His body crashed to the ground, unconscious, smoke rising from his broken form.
Grodd staggered up, psychic energy sparking uncontrollably. He tried to retreat, mind screaming with rage.
But Kabuto was already there, horn gleaming inches from his face.
"Your party ends here, Grodd."
With a final strike, he smashed the Kabuto Kunaigun into Grodd's temple. The psychic giant collapsed, unconscious, his army broken.
Silence. The rain still fell, steam rising from the shattered streets.
Barry forced himself up, leaning on a broken wall. His eyes widened as he saw the battlefield—dozens of gorillas unconscious, Grodd sprawled out cold, and Deathstroke lying defeated.
"…You… did it," Barry breathed.
Ryotaro turned, his armor gleaming in the storm. "I only cleaned up what you held off long enough for me to finish."
Barry smiled weakly. "You've… got terrible timing, you know that?"
Ryotaro chuckled faintly, then looked down at Deathstroke's body. His tone hardened.
"I am going to take Deathstroke away for some questions and some of the items that didn't belong to this world. I will leave the rest for you to handle."
Suddenly, the League members arrived.
Green Lantern constructs flared across the skyline. Wonder Woman descended with her lasso aglow. Martian Manhunter's piercing eyes swept the wreckage. Superman floated above it all, cape fluttering, gaze sharp as a blade.
And on the ground, sprinting to Barry's side, came the young ones: Nightwing, Robin, Miss Martian, Artemis, and more. Their faces tightened at the sight before them.
Barry waved weakly from the rubble. "Took you… long enough."
But their eyes weren't on him. They were locked on Ryotaro.
"...Rider," Superman finally said, voice heavy. The name dropped like thunder.
Gasps rippled through the younger team. Artemis froze, bow clutched. Miss Martian's lips parted in disbelief. Damian's eyes narrowed in sharp suspicion.
"You're supposed to be dead," Wonder Woman said bluntly, her tone equal parts accusation and disbelief. "We buried you with Kara."
Ryotaro's gaze didn't waver. "No. You buried nothing. Kara just disappeared without leaving her body. The only thing you buried is your guilt."
Batman asked, stepping forward. His eyes locked on Ryotaro's. "Are you chasing the light or.....the Ultra Dai-Shocker?"
Ryotaro tilted his head, rain dripping down his cheek. "You did your homework well. I don't care about your hero problems. My job is stopping and preventing the world from corruption. These guys think they can control them." He motioned to Grodd's unconscious form, then to the smoldering crater where Deathstroke had stood.
"While you were busy patching up cities, they were building arsenals. Gaia Memories. Drivers. Things that can erase you before you even throw a punch."
"That doesn't excuse your methods," Batman's voice cut through the downpour, colder than the rain. He had stepped from the shadows as though he'd been there all along, cape draping like a blade of night. His eyes bored into Ryotaro.
Ryotaro met his gaze. Two shadows, neither flinching.
"I do what needs to be done. Something you guys've forgotten how to do."
Superman's fists clenched. "Watch your words."
Ryotaro's eyes hardened. "Or what? Kara died because of your poor judgement. I am also lucky enough to survive from that explosion. When we are fighting where are you guys, you think going straight to the problem is the best decision you guys ever made. Because of that you guys had been trapped inside the Phantom Zone. I did my best to make sure everyone is okay. But it didn't work out very well."
The air froze. Even the rain seemed to pause. Superman's jaw tightened, fury boiling just beneath the surface. Diana placed a hand on his arm, but his eyes never left Ryotaro's.
Ryotaro turned, his coat whipping in the heavy rain. "If you want to stop me from taking him away, I won't be hesitated to use force."
Barry forced himself upright, coughing. "Enough… he saved me. Also he will only takes him away for some questioning, right?"
Ryotaro didn't look at him for that comments. Batman then just stared, his silence the sharpest blade of all and said.
"Two days. This is the most time I can give."
Ryotaro smirked faintly, though his eyes didn't soften. "We'll see." With that he carried Deathstroke away and the Wizard Driver appeared. He then wear the Teleport Wizard Ring and disappear into the magic circle.
