"Ha…haah…haah.." Emma finally opened her eyes, her breathing slightly ragged as she looked around the place fanatically.
"Hey, hey." William arrived by her side and held her hand. Through their connected hands, he sent a calling wave through her mind before saying, " It's okay, you are safe now."
Emma looked at him before nodding, " Y-Yes…" she leaned forward and hugged his arm.
William slowly rubbed her back, trying to soothe her anxiety.
This was probably the first time she was experiencing so much fright after returning from that place.
And William knew the reason.
