Chapter 42 - Chapter 41 - Grand Line

The day commenced with the chirping sounds of the early morning birds, the gentle breeze whizzed calmly as the sun shone brightly deep into the horizon.

It was the day to sail into the Grand Line..

The sudden and promising day Gojo had been dreaming of was about to transpire in a jiffy.

"It's finally the day, huh?" He hopped out from his bed, entrained into the bath to cleanse himself up.

The brief duration the crew has veiled themselves in Amazon Lily was an idolized time to elicit. They spent this particular time shopping and stocking up the marine warship their captain had hijacked when fracturing out of the great prison – Impel Down.

Now it was time their voyage of piracy was about to commence as they framed to embark, wriggle into the depths of the so – called pirate's graveyard.

The trio marched and did their morning routine before cladding themselves into their marine attire they'd stolen.

"Isn't this a bad idea, cladding yourselves into marine attire while sailing into the Grand Line?"

"It'll extract a lot of scrutiny and you might get besieged by pirates."

Some Kuja warriors pleaded in affection despite their gripe for men. However, this trio were exceptional pirates who'd become their ally.

Gojo strode past them with his hands above his head. "Don't worry, we'll be fine."

"Reckon out you aren't the type of captain heeding to other people's sequence." She chuckled, probably sighing in exasperation. A faint smile creeped on her lips while trailing behind the handsome white-haired man.

'Are all men this attractive on the vast seas?'

The weather was calm and perfect to set sail but it'll only get worse when entering the Grand Line. The Kuja tribe had to holler for the pirates and host a banquet for them since they were departing anytime promptly.

The preparations for the banquet was toted out flawlessly, the foods, liquors, fruits, meats and all of it were being prepared by the best cook in Amazon Lily.

The aroma lingered all through the atmosphere, vindicating all over Amazon Lily extracting a loud growl from everyone's stomach.

Jake closed his eyes, fixating his nose to grind as it grasped the lovely fragrance emanating from the palace's kitchen.

"I could formerly tell it's delicious as hell!" He pumped fist.

"Let's all take a seat while the chef brings in the food."

The integral palace was brimming up in horde as the chef carried the food into the large dining table. The Blue-Eyed Pirates didn't hesitate to dig in before any of the Kuja could feast in like a predator who'd cornered its prey.

"Superb." Ryuken's cheeks were streaming down tears of joy as he held a chicken on his left hand and at the same time using his right, savouring into the curry.

Despite the horde, Hancock could only glare right into Gojo's eyes who was swamped shredding his chicken apart, eating like he hadn't eaten in weeks. Her cheeks flustered until she instantly buried her face into her palms.

The banquet was exceptionally lively, with the Kuja warriors singing exquisitely; meanwhile, others were leaping onto the tables and chairs, dancing with unbridled passion.

All of this was intended to guide the Blue-Eyed pirates safely into the Grand Line—a symbolic good luck charm, in other words, expressing the hope that they would not be driven into the ocean's depths, whether by hostile pirates or the region's notoriously aggressive currents.

The clock began to tick and suddenly, time elapsed by, while some Kuja's crashed on the floor with their rear despite some being drunk.

A loud belge escaped Gojo's lips. "I'm filled up, I think I'll need a quick nap." He crashed face – first into the table, snoring loudly.

"Oi oi, cap'n. You gotta be kidding me right now." Ryuken uttered, his eyes not denying reality. "We gotta go."

Hancock gasped, her heart pumping at the speed of light. "I think I'll die blissful." She whispered to herself, her body shivering as elder Nyon shot her a cold glare.

After a while, the crew made their way into the marine vessel, Hancock, her sisters, and the Kuja warriors waving a warm cheerio to the trio.

"Sail safe."

"Don't you dare die before we meet again."

A wide smirk played on Gojo's lips. "We'll see again." He waved at them, before raising the anchor and dropping the sails.

"Hancock!" Gojo uttered, "I'll see you again in the Grand Line. Thank you for everything you've done for us!"

Glaring at the handsome figure a few metres away from her, she instantly got petrified for a second. "He said he'll see me soon. I-Is that a proposal?" Her mind was swamped with a lewd thought of her getting married to Gojo.

'How many kids are we going to have? 2? 3?' Her brain overheated, compelling her to lose consciousness.

Elder Nyon glared at the marine vessels as it began to sail on the calm waters. "Goodluck, pirates. Don't die on me." She whispered, wiping off the tears from her eyes.

Swoosh

Jake lit up his cigarette, sliding it all the way inside his mouth. "Guess it's about time, guys." He puffed out the smoke, letting it all into the atmosphere.

Gojo stepped forward, his voice calm and solid. "We're about to sail into the Grand Line." His grin never fading away. "It won't be as easy as it has been all through the East Blue, guys. We'll face a lot tougher and stronger opponents on the path of achieving our dreams.

We'll battle against stronger pirates, stronger marines and also the World Government as we sail into the Grand Line. No matter the path we choose, they won't be an easy route. We'll fight our way to the top and carve our name into the whole world to know about us – the Blue-Eyed pirates."

The trio outstretched their clenched fist.

"I'll gather the strongest crew and I'll become the King of the Pirates!"

"I'll defeat the world's strongest swordsman and become the world strongest swordsman in history!"

"I'll become the world's greatest sniper!"

The trio exclaimed in belief, their voice echoed like a trumpet as they prepared to haul their way into the Grand Line.

The Kuja glanced at the marine vessel, whereas the silhouette faded away into the horizon as the ship sailed forth into the Grand Line, heading straight for water 7 as their first island in order to attain a new vessel by the world's greatest shipwrights.

Time began elapsing at the speed of light, the weather getting darker and darker as the sky became cloudy. "Guys, it's about time we get to work." Jake exclaimed, probably reading the forecast knowing it's about to rain aggressively.

Cloaked beneath stolen marine colors, their ship slipped silently. The sea lay unnaturally still, wind dead, sails hanging limp. Massive shadows stirred beneath the water. The swordsman held his breath, hand on his blade, while Gojo leaned over the rail, smiling. Stealing a marine ship wasn't just risky—it was madness. But madness, it seemed, was exactly what the Grand Line demanded.

The calm breeze now swaying into a combative wind compelling the water into an upsurge that got the ship swaying sideways.

"Shit shit shit." Ryuken hissed aggressively knowing too well they might get drowned into the depths of the sea if it continues.

"What's happening, Jake." Gojo uttered, his Infinity halting every raindrops quelling his body.

"We're in the Grand Line's radar."

The moment they crossed into the Grand Line, the sky shattered. Rain came down in violent sheets, winds screaming as if the sea itself was testing them. Waves slammed against the hull, lightning tearing the heavens apart. Gojo laughed into the storm, while the swordsman gripped the mast. This was no longer East Blue—this was the Grand Line welcoming them.

"We are…in the Grand Line?" A wide grin surfaced on Satoru's lips. "We made it!"

The stillness didn't last.

Without warning, the air shifted. The sea began to boil, currents colliding from opposite directions as if the ocean itself had lost its mind. Rain vanished, replaced by blistering heat. The stolen marine compass spun wildly, its needle rattling against the glass.

"This place…" Jake muttered. "It doesn't follow any rules."

Gojo straightened, blindfold fluttering in the sudden wind. His grin widened. "Good. I hate boring seas."

Ahead, the horizon twisted—clouds folding into strange shapes, an island barely visible through the haze. Whatever waited there wasn't on any marine chart.

They had crossed the line.

There was no turning back now.

"I can see a visible island ahead." Ryuken chimed in, a grin playing on his lips.

"I guess that's the Grand Line's gift for us." Jake chuckled.

"Be it dangerous or not, let's anchor on that island." Gojo's curiosity skyrocketed. "I smell an exciting adventure, hehe."

"We'll stop at the island for a few days before sailing down to Water 7."

"Water 7? Awesome." Ryuken smiled. "Let's fucking go!!"

Gojo asked. "Why don't we just sail directly to Water 7?"

"Good question. First, we'll have to wait until the Log Pose resets fully to the next island before sailing."

Gojo leaned over. "So this is how the Grand Line decides where you go next?"

"Absolutely." Jake steered the ship directly at the island's port.

'Log Pose…compasses.' Gojo thought to himself perceiving he'd seen something like the Log Pose.

'Where exactly have I seen it?' He cracked his brain before the thought finally got connected.

"I think I've got something special for our navigator." Gojo laughed, extracting the duo's attention.

"What's that?" Jake asked, slightly being dumbfounded.

Gojo turned his gaze to his first mate. "Do you remember back then in Trader's Haven I'd purchased a compass-like thing?"

"When I said you were being a kid buying some kind of junk?"

He snapped his fingers. "Bingo!"

Gojo shook his hands in his pocket, extracting a compass-like device.

"Are you kidding me?!" The duo exclaimed in terrified unison..
