Raven felt it — the moment when the last structural element settled into its position and the seven ley lines connected through a central point that hadn't functioned in 800 years. The sensation was geological. Not a click, not a snap. A settling. The deep rock accepting the repair the way a broken bone accepted the set — reluctantly at first, then with the particular relief of something that had been wrong for so long it had forgotten what right felt like and was now remembering.
