Chapter 336: Elemental Severance

"Hm?"

In the next instant, Gu Yue Na's divine sense suddenly shifted its focus to a distant location.

A vast, towering structure appeared before her spiritual vision—its surface inscribed with countless divine sigils pulsing with the light of the God Realm.

Within that tower, a massive golden figure emanated violent energy—none other than the imprisoned Golden Dragon King.

At the moment, his aura was faint, his body bound by several chains that pierced through his scales. Yet, within those golden vertical pupils still burned an unyielding flame.

"Golden Dragon King!"

Gu Yue Na's voice rang through dimensions, trembling with dragon might. "I've come to take you home!"

Inside the prison, the Golden Dragon King suddenly raised his head, joy flaring in his eyes.

"Silver Dragon King?"

He could scarcely believe it. Ever since his last failed attempt to break the seal, he had been gathering strength, endlessly resisting his captivity.

But now—he sensed her power, her unmistakable divine presence. How could this be possible?

Even more shocking was the realization that the aura she released belonged to that of a God King.

By all logic, the Silver Dragon King could not reach such a level without merging with him first. Only through their combined bloodlines could they ascend to the rank of God King.

Yet Gu Yue Na had achieved it alone. It was simply inconceivable.

Still, disbelief quickly gave way to hope—if she had truly ascended, then perhaps his liberation was finally at hand.

Boom!

With renewed vigor, he unleashed his remaining divine power. Golden light surged from his body, crashing against the boundaries of the prison. The clanging of chains echoed like thunder, shaking the space itself.

"Not good—her target isn't destruction. She's trying to rescue the Golden Dragon King!"

"We have to stop her!"

The five God Kings turned pale. That was the one outcome they dreaded most.

If the two Dragon Kings were reunited, history would repeat itself—the Dragon God War, the catastrophic fall of the Divine Realm.

The Silver Dragon King alone, now possessing God King power, was already enough to terrify them.

If the Golden Dragon King gained strength and ascended as well, the Divine Realm would be doomed.

Their combined threat would far surpass even the might of the original Dragon God.

"Stop her at all costs!" roared the God of Destruction. "If the Golden Dragon King escapes, we're finished!"

He ignited his own divine essence, transforming into a meteor of black flame hurling toward Gu Yue Na.

The other four God Kings followed suit, burning their divine foundations to intercept her.

"Out of my way!"

Gu Yue Na's voice thundered, her tone cold and imperious. The nine elements split into five streams, forming barriers that locked the five God Kings in place.

Her true form transformed into a streak of silver light, appearing before the golden tower in a blink.

She glared at the intricate divine runes engraved upon the prison walls—her eyes glinting with fury.

These were the very same sigils once used to divide the soul of the Dragon God. And now, they had been repurposed to bind the Golden Dragon King.

"It's time to end this."

Raising her hand, Gu Yue Na summoned the power of all nine elements, converging them into a silver spear etched with the patterns of the Dragon God's might.

The spear struck the seals—the metallic clang echoing like divine thunder.

A vast, tower-wide formation flared into view, etched with suppressive energy strong enough to distort the air itself.

Seeing this, Gu Yue Na shot upward, her body twisting into her true dragon form—a magnificent silver dragon wreathed in nine colors of light.

Then she dove.

As she plummeted toward the seal, the nine elements flared around her in a blazing corona.

Just before impact, she transformed once more, her right hand pressing gently but firmly against the trembling barrier.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

A devastating aura erupted, cracks spiderwebbing across the seals covering the tower.

Gu Yue Na pressed harder.

With a chorus of shattering sounds, the divine formation broke apart completely.

The destructive backlash spread outward, shaking the heavens.

Pfft!

Far away, Tang San and the five God Kings coughed blood in unison, their auras faltering.

That seal had been jointly crafted by the five of them—bound to their very life force. So long as they lived, the prison would hold.

They had believed it unbreakable. Yet now it had turned against them, the backlash attacking their very souls.

"Damn it!" Tang San wiped the divine blood from his lip, his face warping in fury. "We can't let him escape! Reform the seal! The rest of you—stall the Silver Dragon King!"

Inside, Tang San's rage burned deeper than any of them realized.

He coveted the Golden Dragon King's blood essence. For millennia, he had sought to refine it for his own use.

He had always considered that divine essence to be his—something no one else dared claim.

To see it stolen before his eyes was intolerable.

The other God Kings had no energy to question him. They knew that if the Golden Dragon King broke free, none of them would survive the aftermath.

"Reform the seal!"

Their voices overlapped as the five of them raised their divine hands, channeling torrents of God King energy toward the tower.

Light surged again.

A faint new barrier began to form, powered by their last reserves. Waves of suppression converged on the Golden Dragon's imprisoned form.

"Damn you, gods!" the Golden Dragon King bellowed, his voice shaking dimensions. "Once I'm free, I'll tear you all apart limb by limb!"

He had almost escaped. The shattered seal had given him a moment of hope—but just as he surged upward, a fresh wave of divine energy crushed him down again.

Gu Yue Na's eyes narrowed.

Floating above the tower, she glared down at the five re-forming their seal, contempt curling at the edges of her lips.

Bringing her hands together, she closed her eyes.

Her boundless divine power spread outward in waves, gathering speed until the entire sky roared.

Before her chest, nine radiant halos converged, forming an orb of chaotic energy that pulsed with terrifying instability.

Inside that sphere, the elemental forces raged wildly, devouring one another.

"Elemental Severance."

When the time felt right, Gu Yue Na's eyes opened—filled with killing intent.

She crushed the sphere between her palms.

What followed defied reason.

The entire God Realm began to tremble as its elemental energy was torn apart and drawn toward the sphere's collapsing core.

All around them, the ambient power of heaven and earth vanished, leaving an eerie stillness behind.

The five God Kings froze, horror etched onto their faces.

The incomplete seal flickered, then disintegrated entirely as its energy source vanished.

"This… this is impossible!"

Tang San gasped, terror shadowing his voice.

What kind of technique could drain the very essence of the world itself?
