CP9 agent lay sprawled across the ruined square, each one encased in energy restraints forged from Jack cosmic alloy.
This cosmic alloy absorb their power and drained their stamina, it act like sea stone but more potent. Even Lucci who are the strongest here, felt weak and his body keep twitching from internal damage, he could barely lift his head.
Spandam was trembling, every marine in his surrounding had fallen unconscious, their minds overwhelmed by the conqueror Haki that dragon had released.
The only ones standing in the middle were the Straw Hat Pirates, and the man cloaked in shadows and wind are Monkey D. Dragon.
Jack adjusted the controls on his wrist gauntlet, golden light shifting as the restraints tightened.
"Containment complete, CP9 agent neutralized. Their vitals are stable..barely," said Jack before looking at Luffy. "So captain what are we going to do next?"
"Let's go, it is time for a party," said Luffy cheerly.
Jack just shaking his head, "Captain I wanted to put them on prison."
"Huh why take them?" asked Luffy even the other become curious.
"Because they ate Devil fruit and I wanted to know either I can extract the devil fruit from them," replied Jack.
"WHAT!! You can extract devil fruit?" asked Luffy wide eyes and It is not just him who was shocked even Dragon who just come here to save Luffy also become surprised with it.
There is no way they can extract Devil Fruit from someone else, even Vegapunk failed to do this experiment, now infront of him there stood a man wanted to test Devil Fruit extraction from a living human.
"The success rate is 50% that is why I need them because they ate Devil fruit," replied Jack.
"Ok," agreed Luffy.
Suddenly Dragon spoke up, "If it succeed can you share the technology with me?"
Jack nodded. "Yes but you need to teach us Haki."
Dragon eyes widened before agreeing because the one ho he would teach are his son crewmate.
"Now… let's see if devil fruit powers can be extracted directly from a living host," said Jack while looking at Lucci who was on the grond.
"You're really planning to experiment on them? That's… kinda dark," asked Usopp.
"Call it science, the World Government uses people as experiments all the time. I'm just reversing the equation," smiled Jack.
"If it succeed will you give it to us?" asked Nojiko.
"Yes, but their devil fruit is too weak, so I won't give it to you," replied Jack.

"So… it's true, huh? You're my dad?" asked Luffy once again, he only had grandpa, Dadan, Ace and Sabo and a group of bandits and don't forget makino too.
Dragon just smiles faintly, lowering his hood "Yes, Monkey D. Luffy. I am your father."
For a moment, no one said anything... the crewmate looked almost sad at the scene of the son who suddenly meet his father until Luffy tilted his head and asked with innocence...
"So… uh, what's a father, actually?"
Every single member of the crew froze. Then came the sound of synchronized exasperation.

Usopp jaw dropped so hard it looked like it might hit the floor, Nami facepalmed so loudly it echoed. Nojiko can't believe this captain didn't even know that he didn't know the word father
Zoro muttered something that sounded like "I can't believe this is my captain…." and sanji he remembered his biological father Vinsmoke Judge.
But for Jack it is different, he almost laughed because he remember the scene from original series when Garp reveal that Luffy had father.
Dragon suddenly laugh because Luffy behaviour is like his father Monkey D Garp.
"You are like my father Luffy," commented Dragon.
"You mean Grandpa?" asked Luffy.
"Yeah, he is my father," replied Dragon.
Jack, who had been watching quietly, stepped forward, his voice calm.
"Dragon-san, I want to make you an offer," said Jack.
Dragon turned to face him
"An offer?" asked Dragon
"Yes, Join us aboard the Going Merry for a while, wasn't you have agreed to teach us Haki, at least for a while. Teach Luffy something he can't learn on his own."
"Jack... It should be me who invite any new member, even though he is my father, it is not up to you to decide it" replied Luffy looking angry.
"It is not joining us as strawhat pirates, captain luffy," explained Jack. "I just invite him to teach us about Haki, because to learn Haki you need months of training and it might take a year to master it, so it is better to learn from those who had awaken and mastering it like your grandpa or your father, so to do this we need him on board with us, sail temporarily."
"Oh is that it?" said Luffy. "Then is ok, hey father you can join us."
"You want me to join your crew?" asked Dragon.
Jack interrupted. "Not as a crew member but sail as a teacher. Luffy may have your blood but you are not part of strawhat pirates and because he wanted to become Pirate King, he need to learn about Haki, especially Conqueror Haki."
"Luffy have you awaken conqueror Haki?" asked Dragon.
"I... I don't know," answer Luffy.
"He has conqueror Haki, he and Zoro I can confirm they have because of their will," said Jack. "Luffy wanted to become pirate king and zoro wanted to become the greatest swordsman in the world. This is the will of those who possessed conqueror haki."
Dragon who heard Jack reason just nodded his head, because only time would tell either they possess conqueror haki or not.
"I can't stay long because my revolution needs me but what Jack said is true, if you're going to face what lies ahead in the Grand Line, you need to understand haki. You already have the potential."
Luffy scratches his chin "Potential? Is that like meat?"
Nojiko just can sighs "No, Captain, not everything is meat."
"I see… teaching you will be interesting," commented Dragon.
He stepped closer to Luffy, placing a hand lightly on his shoulder, a faint wave of Conqueror Haki, strong enough to make the rubble around them vibrate.
Luffy eyes widened this time He could feel it, the strange, invisible force that made his heartbeat quicken, something wild and untamed inside him answering back.
Suddenly Jack commented, "Luffy, Zoro, fight that feeling. It was one way to awaken conqueror Haki."
Dragon who just wanted to test his son stunned for a while before continuing pressuring his son with his conqueror haki.
The only one standing at the moment is Jack, Sanji, Zoro and Luffy. While Usopp, Nami and Nojiko had fainted.
Hearing this, not just Zoro and Luffy who tried to fight it, even Sanji do the same. Meanwhile Dragon released even more conqueror Haki after hearing a word from Jack, he now had a feeling that this is the way to awaken conqueror haki.
And before Luffy suddenly burst his conqueror Haki, after a few second Zoro also awaken his conqueror haki and lastly Sanji also had awaken his conqueror Haki.
